Chapter 3 - Chapter-3 The Boy

Kasia entered her bedroom. She cheered up only after seeing her new room. During these holidays, one thing she did was to redecorate her bedroom and make it look more mature, because it was all pink before, and it started to look very childish in her eyes. And because she was bored too, this activity helped her cheer up a little and pass her boredom. Because Alivia was also not with her most of the time, she just visited her once in a while.

Her room that was pink before, and she yelled that it was childish was now changed to complete white with pink lilies design on the walls. She likes lilies. She had decorated it with golden lights and the bed was decorated with white net fabric.

Beside the bed there was a photo column. She had decorated the wall with her childhood pictures and the photos with her parents. In the centermost there was a family pic of them three. It is the rarest photo ever because spending time with her parents was indeed a rare thing for her, so photos with them were also less. This photo was clicked when they were on a family picnic. It was very fun that time.

Anyway, coming back, she had also planted some homely plants to make it more refreshing to take a breath in.

Kasia opened her cupboard and took out a coffee color wide leg palazzo and a short sleeve t-shirt. She wanted to wear something good to greet her friend but at the same time she didn't want others to feel that she had specially dressed up. These clothes perfectly suited it as they were much more comfortable than jeans and designer tops and more good looking then pajamas. She hurriedly changed her clothes as she remade her hairstyle which was like always a high ponytail. She looked towards the mirror and smiled.

In the mirror, the girl has mixed black and brown hair. Her brown hair was doing the work of highlighting the black ones, which was naturally looking good. Her eyes were of plain dark brown color. Nothing much different, but they were specially appearing to shine and somewhat watery. Her eyelashes were of normal size overshadowing her eyes. The only thing that was very rare on her face was her lips. They were almost of a perfect shape, neither too big nor too small. They were of pinkish color. After applying some lip balm on them they appeared to be more mellow. Her lips were the most good thing on her face. Kasia, satisfied with her look, smiled joyfully. Her dress also wasn't making her look childish, she was in real now, looking like a real mature teenager.

Though the question is, Are teenagers mature? Some are, some not, depending on the environment they are living in.

Kasia came into the dining room where the butler had already prepared her snacks.

She cheerfully moved towards the dining table. She was eating her breakfast while thinking about what to do next. 'Should she prepare anything good for her friend?' Just as the idea came in her head, Kasia quickly decided to make a meeting gift for her, so she can speedily befriend her too.

She hurriedly ate her lunch, both excited and happy to have such a good idea in her mind.

Kasia was now in her house garden sitting on the garden swing swaying in it, bored. She had done her homework as well as preparing a new gift for her friend. After having a thought for a really long time, she finally decided to give her chocolates. Everyone likes it, and she likes chocolate too. So, she finally settled on giving her a chocolate box.

Suddenly she heard a car's parking voice, so she went outside to see if it was her parents who had come back.

She saw a man and woman coming out from a white car. They were not her parents. These people took out luggage from the back of the car as they entered the home near us. 'Were they our new neighbors?' The woman and man both were a sweet looking couple and looked very approachable. She peeked in the car to see if there was any child with them but saw no one coming out from it anymore. Her face looked confused as sad emotions took her over. 'Where is the girl Mom was talking about? Did she lie to me?' Kasia was thinking if her mother had played any nasty prank on her. She sadly got inside the house, seeing that the man and woman had moved in, unlocking the door lock of the house. The slight possibility she was imagining of them to be not their neighbors also vanished as she was proved to be wrong.

She moved towards her room, her mood upset as she also didn't noticed the butler calling her. She just knew that her mom told her a lie and she won't believe her anymore. She wasn't sad that her Mom lied to her, but she was upset because all her exceptions of having a new friend were broken. But she can't help but feel a slight possibility that maybe her mom didn't lied but there was any other reason. But for now, she just laid on her bed trying to forget everything because being sad won't help her or change anything.

Kasia was woken up from her sleep by the knock sounding on the door, she didn't relised when she slept between her tears.

She opened the door to see a servant. The servant told her to appear in the dining hall as Madam, meaning her mom, was calling her downstairs.

Kasia followed the servant to the dining hall realizing that her Mom and Dad had come home when she was sleeping. It was also dinner time by now. She was feeling hungry too. She decided to eat the chocolates she had prepared for her friend by herself only. Anyway, there was no such friend and she couldn't bear to let them melt away…

As she entered the dining hall she saw her parents sitting on the dining table, there were two more people next to them. They were the ones she saw in the evening. So, they really were her new neighbors.

As she came near them she also saw a small chubby boy sitting next to them. He had chocolate brown eyes, with a little of dark blue color in them like a ocean. His hair were brown. Overall, the boy was very cute and she was feeling her cute sickness throwing up. But at last, who was this boy? He can't be there child as Mom had said they have a girl but she wasn't in the consciousness to think about this now, she now just wanted to go and pinch his cheek if not her parents being there she might even do it. But she control her urge.

She greeted her parents in a respectful manner "Mom, Dad."

Looking at the man and woman sitting across from them she also greeted them with a sweet and respectful smile "Hello Uncle, Hello Aunt."

"Sit." Came her dad's order came. Her dad was a strict type of man. He was always cold and without any visible emotions. As he always set out an example for her from his great abilities at doing things but at the same time his emotions were a great turmoil for her. He always wanted her to become excellent like him. And she is trying too, to become like him, a great person. But as she is getting older, she realized that her feelings and thinking were getting farther and farther away from his. Her dreams, which were at a time to be a great person, were taking a turn into another direction, thinking to become something else…..but that thing is what he still doesn't know as well as herself, she only knows she doesn't want to follow his footsteps. She doesn't want to ignore her family's feelings and just focus on their work. She wanted to be loved, loved by everyone including her family, not despised.
