"Alex?"
"Hm?"
Alex became a little stunt as Marine called him by his name and he responded with a humming sound.
"I don't know if i am in any position to say this to you, but i still have to say this for the sake of my best friend."
Marine paused on her words and Alex looked at her with a serious face.
"Since she has meet you again, she has become happy... like a complete different person. We don't want to see her like a emotionless numb person again. She has went through a lot till now and she is only happy beside you."
"Went through a lot?"
Alex repeated Marine's words and she nodded as a gloomy expression flashed in her face, before it turned normal again.
"You must be wondering why she hates the Stan's so much, right?"
"Yeah;"
Alex pretended to not know and Marine felt suspicious because of his straight answer.
