Krista's POV:
I followed Loraine to her bar. It was dark inside. Loraine switched on the lights, and I saw what the bar looked like. The high chairs and tables were stacked up messily, the floor was dirty, and the air was filled with the stench of fermented alcohol, which was very unpleasant.
I covered my mouth and nose, found a relatively clean couch, and sat down. Then, with my back facing Loraine, I lifted my clothes and fed my son.
"I'm sorry, the shop is a little messy. The cleaners will arrive in a while. Please bear with it for a while." Loraine poured me a glass of water. After I thanked her, I didn't drink it. In an unfamiliar place, facing a strange woman, I had to always be on guard, even if Loraine seemed rather friendly.
