"So, I step up and become the bishop's most trusted aidee. I as the young deacons representative made some compromise with the bishop that we didn't want any more orphans in the church, in return we will continue to cooperate with the bishop's deeds until today when the bishop's plan was ruined by you guys. It's also my first time knowing that those friends of the bishop are criminal members from the Dusk. You and your friend saved all of us, we're very thankful. Please don't arrest the other deacons, some of them still have family to return to and the orphans still need the deacons to take care of them. I will surrender myself and bear all their faults, from the day I become the deacons representative, I already made up my mind for today."
Li nodded indicating that he understood what Deacon Bob said and stopped the video recording. He sent the video recording to the pope and let him handle this mess.
"I understand what you are saying, but this is a big incident and scandal that will bring the church to the front page of the news today. I have already sent the video that records what you said just now to the pope. The pope and the other church high ranked members will decide the appropriate punishment for all of you."
"Huhhh.. You are right.. Maybe this is also better for us and those orphans. I hope the new personnel from the church that will be sent after us can take better care of those lovely kids. Even after all the horrible things we have been doing all these years, they are still trying to protect me. They are really lovely ones.. I hope I will see them once again someday." Deacon Bob sobbing with his hand covering his face so he won't let any sound out, he didn't want the kids seeing his current state and worry about him.
A group of people come to the direction of the west branch church lead by a person who many people won't expect. He is cardinal Mikael, one the highest combat power of the church and the commander of Zahakkan Holy Empire patrol team finally arrived at the scene of crime bringing with him some bishops and deacons along the way. He just got out of the hospital, sadly duty calls just after he opened his eyes this morning. His body is still full of bandages, he wears a broken bone plaster and an arm sling to support his left hand, a deacon can be seen helping him push the wheelchair. The only part of his body that still looks fine is his head. Cardinal Mikael really took a lot of damage from the battle with cardinal Miguel.
The news reporters and journalists who are taking photos and videos around the burned ruins of the west branch church from the previous explosion noticed the group that came. Their attention was attracted by the bandaged figure at the forefront of that group. They feel that the figure seems familiar, looking back again the only high ranked person from the church who is held high and very respected by the patrol team and got in the hospital a week ago is cardinal Mikael. They want to get close and interview the cardinal, but get stopped by the patrol team who are assigned around the area.
Cardinal Mikael's team goes into the direction of deacon Li and the others. He needed to check the condition of the people from the west branch church, especially the pope's grandson. The pope informed him that his youngest grandson has been given an important assignment by him to check the expenditure report of each branch church in the empire yesterday and he's staying for the night at the west branch church when the explosion happened. The pope is still too busy and can't pick him up personally, the pope didn't even sleep for a day and another incident happened, so he asked for cardinal Mikael to check on his grandson's condition.
"Is there anyone named Zeon here?" asked the injured cardinal when coming closer to Li and the others who are involved in the incident at the west branch church.
"Cardinal Mikael, my name is Li. I'm one of the church deacon and Zeon's friend. If you want to meet Zeon he's over there still sleeping. He just fainted before, but his condition is fine, he just needs a bit of rest." Li answered the cardinal and pointed at Zeon sleeping on the mat next to Toast.
"It's good if he is okay. The pope worried about her condition and ordered me to come and check her current condition. Were there any casualties from the west branch church in the explosion incident before?"
"Don't worry cardinal Mikael, there aren't any casualties from the west branch church. Fortunately, Zeon, me, and my friend successfully evacuated everyone before the explosion happened. For the detailed information I have already sent it to the pope and he will definitely hold a meeting with the other church higher ranked members to discuss the incident that happened here."
"Then it's good, thanks for the information deacon Li. Now, I need to bring all of you to our patrol team headquarter, the street is too cold for the kids. Let's go, bring your friends and help me inform the other deacons from the west branch church. They need a place to live for the moment until the west branch church is rebuilt."
Li asked Toast to carry Zeon while he informed deacon Bob about the order from cardinal Mikael. Deacon Bob understands that they need a place to stay for the moment. He asked the other deacon to bring and protect the orphans on the way to the empire patrol team headquarters. The patrol team headquarter itself is located on the west side of the empire so the distance isn't that far from the west branch church. They go to the train station to get to the location faster.
After arriving at their intended rail station, cardinal Mikael led the others to his place. There is a huge board outside on top of the closed gate showing that this is the patrol headquarters. There is a tall wall surrounding the squared location of the patrol headquarter that hides the inside from the prying eyes of the media and other unauthorized personnel. On top of the gate, there is a guard post. After seeing the entourage coming through the surveillance camera, the guard didn't ask for anything and immediately opened the gate of the patrol headquarter showing that they have already been informed of who is coming to their place. The people on the guard post which consist of the church deacon and other capable people saluted to the cardinal to show their respect.
The patrol team itself is some kind of an organization personally built to protect the area in the humanity domain. Every place has their own team, on the empire it was led by a cardinal, on the principality it was led by a duke, on the kingdom it was led by a commander, and on the central city it was led by a grand marshal. The empire is really lucky because they can allocate a cardinal to lead the whole patrol team so that it can be more organized. Their occupation itself has a different job from the normal police. The police these days only take care of small matters for people such as family disputes, missing pets, pickpockets, and other things that don't have any lethal element on them. The patrol team will handle all the other matters which are related to runic power, criminal organization, demon contractor, and other dangerous matters which cause destruction or loss of life.
The group that came entered the patrol team headquarter area. The cardinal let Li's company and the other from west branch church to rest for the moment on one of the unused buildings for guests and other important entourage who visited their location. Li, Zeon, and Toast get in one of the rooms. They didn't have enough sleep at all last night. The fatigue really gets in their mind and they just sleep like that on the bed after entering the room.

Bishop Haris who ran away from the church area looked at the explosion that happened behind him. He really thinks that all of these are crazy. He didn't feel have done anything that bad to deserve all of this. He really didn't understand at all what happened.
'Are they destroying the church because I just hurt them once? CRAZY!! Who are they? Alright, I need to flee the scene first. It looks like after this incident all my corruption will come to the surface and I will be wanted by the church. First, I need to meet up with those people from the criminal organization and maybe I can join them and have another place to live.'
