One day suddenly two cracks appeared on the sky and two worlds got connected with the Earth,one was the DEVILDOM and the other was the DRAGONS NEST. The door remain unopened for some time but after two years both of the gates opened and monsters and demons started to attack the people. The civilization of humans built by the hard work of many people over the century got destroyed in just three month along with half of its population.
But the tides changed when the humans started to obtain "gifts" and "mana" that were the speciality of demons and dragons respectively. To push back the incoming demons and monsters all the remaining humans worked together under the leadership of 'Vincent lionheart' who was the strongest of all the humans.He managed to defeat the monsters and demons along with all of the other humans. Vincent Lionheart also killed the head of the monsters,who was a named dragon 'Hydra', a water dragon, with the cost of his life to protect the humans.
The Lionheart family became a renowned family and was managing all the human world.Twenty years after the defeat of Hydra Eight Rankers reached S Rank and established an academy in order to make more hunters to fight with the demons and monsters.That academy was named 'OCTAGON'.
