"Go find them," Ingram roared, and the ones with him, except his brothers dashed forward.
Riley ran forward, with Tanya's hand in his. "I am sorry," she whimpered with teary eyes.
"Save that for later," Riley said. "We've got to get away from here first."
Riley pushed Tanya to the front, turned around, and slammed Earth shatterer. Dirt rose and the ground rumbled. He checked for the pursuers, and in the dim moonlight and flickering torches, he could see moving silhouettes. He saw cracks form over their house, and he saw hay fall from the stable. Dante cried inside, trying to get out.
That place was going to be their safe abode, and now it's ruined.
