Only the ones in the carriage went inside the house. Diego still stood out like a black sheep in the snow, and the other group looked at him; some with jealousy, some with curiosity, and the others in concern.
The house was nothing special, with a single bedroom with the kitchen attached to it. The residents of the house only needed that much, for they were an old couple. The man had all his hair gone, but his mustache was thick and grey. The woman had her grey curls fallen to her shoulder, she sat in a chair with a pair of needles and threads at her lap.
"Don't you two worry. I have got the right person for you," he was standing across the two his head slightly lowered. He turned to the arrival of the group, and gave a sly smile. "As a matter of fact, I can get you someone – today itself, for my associates have now arrived."
Ruygard frowned. "Associates?"
