They ran away from here, they fought against their fears and came back here; to get the strength to fight. Yet, when Magdalena turned and called for them, their feet froze in place. "What if they are not worth it?" Dark thoughts clouded their minds.
"It's alright," Valora smiled at them.
Sophia curled her fingers in determination. She walked up the stairs and towards Magdalena and the other three followed.
Magdalena gave a shot at Valora, and then she looked at the girls. "Welcome, maidens of eversnow. Our lord and saviour— Hodur— the lord of eversnow, has chosen you four for his blessing and me for guiding you."
Her bony hands rose and her trembling finger pointed. "You," she called out to Sophia. "Come near his feet."
She felt her fingers be daggers that pierced her eyes. A strange swivelling sensation bubbled up in her head. She thought those fingers were draining his energy and laying upon the lord.
