The Ogroard thrashed and roared with its club in hand. Carlos thrust his Winter blossom into the monster's arms legs and body. Flowers of white frost rose from the wounds with centres of red. It didn't care for the flowers or the cold. Henry chanted and stomped, raising large boulders, blocking the monster's eyes.

Valora sat near Ana and closed her eyes. She wiped her tears and stood up. "Be happy in the place you are, Ana," she turned towards the battle. "For that thing will not haunt you ever; even in its death."

"They will die if they are killed," Sophia thought. "And they can kill us too— but if we did it first..."

The others followed her, with axe and sword in hand. Luna stood with Leonardo; her eyes blurry, yet her vision fixed.

Carlos's men get swept by the wind and the swings made from the club. Teresa went to the left, Gloria went to the right and Sophia went straight. "Kill them first," she thought.
