The five sat on one side of the table with Valora and Henry on the other side. Sophia held the cleanly cut gem in her hands; the light from the candles entered inside, danced around and came out as a dozen rainbows. She couldn't stop looking at it, for it was the most beautiful she had held in her life.
"Keep it in your pouch, Sophia," Luna advised her. "You don't want cutpurses and thieves seeing it, do you?"
Sophia looked at her and then looked around. They were in the One-eyed owl, waiting for their lunch. Sophia saw adventurers glancing looks at her stone with greedy eyes. Her fingers trembled and she took the stone to her pouch.
"They can't do anything with it even if they get it," Henry instructed.
Valora sat with her fingers curled around a mug and her eyes wandering over it. Two bubbles rose and burst on the ale and she saw their faces on it; the twins.
