Chapter 60 - The Naga

Riley's face was stern. The other three held their breath and looked at each other. Riley slowed turned his horse and went back. Delta raised her head to the smell and gave out a bark. They felt their heart stop for a moment. The naga raised its head, hissed and went back to its slumber.

Down the river, near the bridge, Riley got out of his horse and walked.

"You three can't take on that thing," he rambled.

"I thought you said you are strong?" Osmond got off Blaze.

"I am, you three are just kids. Did you see the number of heads on that thing? The eyes? Let me tell you, it has six eyes! Six! One for each of us and it will still have two left," Riley said to Osmond's face.

"But we can't just leave. These people will die," Anna said from behind.

"Yes, but can we do anything?" Colby's eyes were doubtful.

Osmond's looked down. His mind was running. "It's a snake," he muttered.

"What?" Colby looked confused.
