In the middle of the room, over the table, Nelle Reede laid bare. Her legs were spread and tied to the table. Between her thighs, a plate of roast turkey was placed. Apples, oranges and grapes were placed around her. Blood trickled from her thigh to the roasted meat.
Two women came near the table. The first took a piece of meat and gorged on it. The second took an apple, took a bite from it, spat it on Nelle's breasts and licked it up like a snake.
They both were naked left for a black cape around their shoulders. Their eyes were rolled back and they did not care for Nash and others.
The first one went to a man and bent over
"Fuck me," she shouted.
The man was drooling. His cock throbbed like a wild bull. He stepped forward and rubbed it on her clit. He gleed and laughed and then plunged it inside. Her juices flowed outside.
Nash recognised them. It was the maid and the guard, Bella and Mathew.
In the room, at least a dozen men and women fucked and raved. Another woman went on collecting love juices in a bucket. She took that bucket and poured it on Nelle.
Hale recognised the woman. It was Daisy.
In a corner, two women were fucking a young man. The first one sucked on his dick while the second on his nipples. Benton remembered those women and Hale remembered that man. They were Rick and the launderers.
They saw men and women that they knew. They saw Rue, the bartender and Nelda. Nash looked around and saw Hamilton in the front. He was fucking his wife with her hands behind her. Her eyes were rolled back and her tongue was sticking out. Her hanging breasts moved with each thrust.
Nash heard shouts and moans from all around him. They did not see or care for Nash, for they were In a state of euphoria.
"Harder."
"I want a taste now."
"Drink this," a woman said squirting out.
"Put yours in my butt," a woman called a man.
In between all Nell Reede lay helpless. Her eyes voiced a plea towards Nash.
'These people did all that. And they framed an innocent man on top of it. They should pay,' Nash's face turned red and his veins popped. He gritted his teeth.
Nash walked in long strides. He went to Nelle and untied her, then took his overcoat and covered her. She sat up and screamed. That scream brought all the eyes over him.
Hamilton's eyes were bloodshot. He drooled lunging. He dashed towards Nash with his penis throbbing.
Aron charged in front and struck Hamilton on the neck. Aron pinned Hamiton down with a sword.
"Seize this debauchery, or taste our blades," Nash boomed.
Some stopped fucking, while others went on humping. Hale tried pulling away Daisy and she started rubbing her clit on his thighs. A wave of disgust and a strange sense of pleasure flowed through him.
"All hail the lord," she shouted.
Nelda went to Elfric and grabbed his dick.
"Show me what you got," she said.
He saw her eyes and noticed that there was only darkness in them.
The men tied the culprits and they were presented before the court on the next day. They were clothed in grey rags. They were held to the ground using iron shackles.
Nash listed what he had seen in that room. The king's eyes widened and then showed disgust. The court saw the criminals as if they were vermin.
"Is it true about what Nash said, Hamilton?" The king asked glaring.
Hamilton looked away without any care.
Anger wailed inside King Alexander and he shouted his verdict.
"On the account of the murder of more than a dozen women and the heresy against over gods, I command these people to be hanged until their death."
"I congratulate and thank Nash winters and his companions for preventing me from committing a crime, the crime of killing an innocent man."
Five sun rises later, the culprits were taken to be hung. A crowd gathered in front of the execution area. The King sat in a high platform. Nash Wintere and his companions stood in the front below the platform. The executioner came and tied ropes around the criminals' necks.
"The king has allowed the people to speak to these heretics. You may shout out from where you stand," the court speaker said.
Elfric came forward and looked at Nelda and asked. "Why?"
"When you lose hope in all gods, you go after new ones," she said looking away.
"Didn't you care about your sister?" Hale asked Daisy.
"A sister that runs away at the drop of a hat," Daisy scoffed.
"Is that all?" The court speaker shouted.
No one else spoke from the crowd. Some shouted slurs and threw stones.
"Say your final words," the king ordered.
The executioner came and covered their faces with black clothes. But that didn't stop their voices from echoing.
"We are the Hollowed Vultures, the children to the Lord. We will die today but our kin will grow and they will spread our beliefs. We will die today and will be reborn beside our Lord."
The door below their feet opened and their flayed hanging from the gallows. Their eyes bulged and their lungs choked. Their necks snapped and one by one, they died.
Hamilton gave his last breath after all others. He was now in pitch darkness. He felt his body as light as air. He tried clenching his fists but then noticed that he had no fists. He looked all around and saw no one else.
He looked again and further to this front, he saw something. He walked to it with great care so that he will not float away. Hamilton felt something seeping out of it. He felt his body crippling and his self crumbling. It was a cocoon.
The cocoon.
The cocoon they worshipped.
"My lord," Hamilton cried.
The flesh and the blood flowing over the cocoon throbbed. The bones poking out of it swayed. A dozen eyes over it turned to Hamilton.
"You are not needed," a voice came like a thousand swords. It was darkness itself.
"Why?" Hamilton asked kneeling.
"Because you are not cruel enough," Hamilton saw everything bad that happened to him at that second. He felt as if a giant cloak of darkness was covering him and in that abyss, he will be drowned. He felt himself being withered away.
In the deep darkness, only the cocoon remained.
"The world shall now know true despair," a million light bolts and a giant quake came from the cocoon. It spread to lands known and unknown, waking beasts from the past.
