Chapter 1 - The End.

- You have died! -

A voice jolted inside my head, making my heavy eyelids flutter open.

- Attempting memory reconstruction... -

Once again, the voice rang inside my head. I forced my right hand up to my face.

Memories, no... data, an near endless amount was being pushed into my consciousness.

- Error! -

"Argh!" I grunted in relief as the data transfer suddenly stopped, leaving with only fragments of past reality to understand.

- Memory Files are currently unaccesable due to failure of loading system -

Of all data... memories... the only coherent ones were the plethora of battle experience, forged through countless fights.

- Partial resurrection, succeded -

Along with that experience is knowledge about this body.

- Generating summary according to current Authority level.... -

Orichalum, proclaimed to the metal of gods, enriched in a specific energy called "α".

Strong enough to withstand "immense" stress depending on how it was produced

It's what this body is made of.

- Loading... -

My joints creaked loudly as I forced myself... this vessel to stand up.

Glowing brightly through the artificially torn crevice in my chest is what powers it.

Though it seems like its almost entirely drained...

According to the data, the generation 4 "Creo Core" is strong enough to power a city in half a year with no rest.

- //... Summary ...// -

Standing up, my vision lines up with my height as I looked forward ahead of me.

An empty hallway of an abandoned building... and a wall of text in front of my eyes.

- Earth is wrought with disaster, the apocalypse has arrived. Virus, Ω, has taken over the world. -

An additional set of data flooded my brain. Year 2576, humanity was advancing their understanding on energy and technology at light speed.

Automatons, humanoid machines enlikened to the image of humans, were created for the purpose of human convience.

For everyday life, and to save countless casualties in war.

On another hand, humans were also rapidly developing new theories and sources for pure renewable energy.

And during one of humanities most crucial experimentations on interdimensional energy, a break out occured.

Humanity did manage to create a new form of energy but... it wasn't beneficial at all.

It was destructive, it killed billions of people, it was literally a pure unadulterated corrupting source of power.

Virus, Ωmega.

One singular particle of this energy entered our plain of reality, multypling into a countless amount in a matter of seconds.

This energy... this virus infected almost every single machinery in the world, including the automatons.

From the very basic farming bots, to one of humanity's greatest war machines.

And I.... I am one of the thousands of byproducts of humanity's resistance against this disaster. This.... I don't know what to feel about this information.

- Alert! Condensed Ω% virus is speedily approaching! Prepare for combat -

My senses blared as energy coursed within body in resonse to the threat, protecting me from internal takeover from the virus.

Loud metal thuds echoed in the hallway as what met my eyes was the crooked form of a mechanoid construct that looked like it went through hell and back, missing a limb, baring its weaponry at me.

At this very moment I had a number of question I so desperately need to answer.

Firstly, what the hell is that???

"KraaaAaaAaaaaAAaA!!"

It schreeched, accelerating towards me with its claws in a vicious stance, aiming to completely mutilate my already broken body.

- Emergency broadcast initiated... -

My "heart" blarred alive, giving me a boost in physical ability as I barely managed to dodge the attack with a slight scratch to the hand.

Secondly, will I survive long enough until "help" comes, or will it end right here?

- One reciever. 56.4 km away... -

"....Damn." If I hadn' dodged in time, never mind having a slight scratch. I looked towards the creature as it corrected its balance. And its claws looked especially menacing to me right now.

'I could've been torn up in half in an instant.' I sweatdropped. This, counting the distance from help....

- Current Priority: SURVIVE until help arrives -

"This might as well be the end."
