DANA
Ivor left, and the man in the store came in to see me sitting all by myself. I didn't want to stay there, not in the presence of a stranger. I pulled my phone out from my purse and called Marvin, but the line was busy. I tried again and this time, the call came through. I sent the address of my location and then waited. Because that's all I can do for now.
The man was sitting three tables away, scrolling through his phone. I don't see any sign of danger in him. He looks like a kind family man. The ring on his finger gave me the idea that he's married. However, he noticed me staring at him. I looked away, but it was too late.
"miss, do you need anything? Water or a tissue roll?" – he asked, walking towards me
"none, thank you."
