"where were you last night?"
Like most times when I wanted space, Neil was once again here in my office at 9 am. I was on my high chair typing a speech for this foundation event I sponsored where I was invited to be an inspirational speaker and he just barged in the door.
"you can come in, Neil." – I said sarcastically but he only ignored that. he occupied the seat in front of me and leaned in to talk to me closer.
"I came to the manor last night and they were all clueless on where you were."
Clueless, he said? Good then, Marvin didn't say anything. He should get a raise for being loyal and keeping my secrets.
"okay?"
"so where were you?"
I frowned. Why am I suddenly under interrogation here? Why is he on my place at late hours anyway? He wasn't even welcome in there… most of the time.
