DANA
It was a last minute realization that once I let this slide, I won't have the same opportunity to talk to him again. I know if I don't get to do this now, to ask him everything that's bothering me, I won't get to, ever. Once he already turned off his laptop, I stood up from the bed and walked to his direction.
"ready?" – he asked, pocketing his phone and keys
"Ivor, no."
I didn't think about that anymore. whatever's the first thought I had in my mind, I blurt it out. I'm thinking of this as our last chance to say the unsaid. Just until sunrise, please.
"what do you mean?" – he said over crinkled brows
"can we… can we talk? Just a couple of hours."
He flinched. He didn't want to, I know. But we have to.
"I don't think that's necessary."
