IVOR
Dana stood up, and I knew it was too late to scurry away. It felt like in a sudden I was stuck on the exact spot and I couldn't move. She didn't see where I am as she strutted her way to the counter. I know it was my chance to go away right then, but I don't know what has gotten into me that I chose to stay.
In my mind, all I can say is… wow.
Her hair got longer, and I'm sure the blonde highlights were new. She mentioned it before that she wanted a change with her look and it was me who suggested she should try highlights. And she did. I do not want to assume that my suggestion was the sole reason she did that… but I was right. It looked good on her. She looked like a different person. Figuratively, perhaps she is.
"we transferred the straw to that area, Dan." – Bryan said pointing to… me?
