To say I'm nervous would not do it. What I feel now is way more than that. Like on a job application for the most important role in the world. Everything else is hollow if put in comparison. On this moment, right when my right feet hit the grassy ground, nothing else matters but the moment before us. No one else matters but me meeting his family.
The house looked peaceful and I guess no one's home yet or they were busy inside. It was when Ivor led the way that we came to the doorstep. He knocked, reached for my hand and as soon as the door opened, gripped it tightly. Was he being nervous right now?
"heeeey~ welcome home son… and this must be Wisteria."
I guess it was his mom. I can tell by the similar bone structures. It's hard to miss. I smiled, though the insides of my chest were roaring lions.
"it's nice to meet you, ma'am. Just call me Ria. Wisteria's such a long name."
