"I SAID YOU HAVE TO CANCEL WHATEVER MEETING I HAVE THIS AFTERNOON, RIGHT? WERE YOU NOT LISTENING TO ME LAST TIME?"
No, I wasn't mad. I was only raising my voice but that doesn't mean I was mad. Zyra's already used to this and there was no sign of fear on her face. She knows me, she knows I wasn't being angry.
"yes, Miss… but Mr. Fernandez called this morning and notified us. He said the scheduled meeting you have with him has to be today because he has an important matter to attend this Friday."
I grimaced. He has an important matter to attend so I'll be the one adjusting? He was the one wanting me to finance his foundation for adopted children. What makes him think he can demand for my time?
After a minute of thinking, I noticed Zyra was still standing in front of my table, clutching her usual folder with notes and schedules for today.
"I see you're still here."
