DANA
We were laughing the next minute with the flashbacks of our first year in business school.
"Remember that time when we were late and then the professor gave us five minutes to prepare a dance presentation as our penalty? God, we were awful. Harry still has that freakin' video on his phone!"
More laughs. I didn't expect things to turn around, just like this. It may be the drunkenness of the night or the lack of sleep but after half an hour of talking about my feelings and the toil of work that's heavily imposed on my shoulders, my boundaries with Neil started to loosen up and was broken down.
"Mr. Stevens was so mad he called our parents the day after. I didn't know that song would have those lyrics!" – I couldn't speak properly. I was laughing but controlling it. God, my room wasn't bulletproof and it was already midnight. Everyone in the house were asleep.
