The reality was in a dark tone, compared to the bright weekend I had. The green garden now's replaced with indexed folders, labelled from A-Z. The natural coldness of the weather now's replaced with electricity-powered conditioner. The comfortable home clothes I wore were now stuck at the bottom of the cabinet as I was back to the daily corporate look. 9 am in the morning and my ankles hurt. I would always choose slippers over stilettos.
Of course, there would always be moments when we think we have the life we want because it's what we're used to growing up. All my life was centered on being the next CEO of Russel Co. Reared and trained to be tough and unforgiveable. However, like a reptile, sometimes we desire the shedding of the skin, to be spontaneous and shocking, to be renewed and strange. When you taste your favorite, it's hard to compare it with something else. There would always be the comparison.
