I really hoped he was kidding but he wasn't. I also hoped it would only be horses, but there was more than that. He just didn't have horses, there were a lot of animals in the other side of the farm as well. I know this is weird but I haven't been in close contact with any four-legged beast before. The closest experience I had was when I visited a dog center because I thought of adopting one but changed my mind on the last minute when the staff told me I need to take care of them really, really well.
I don't have the time to care for them, I said and then the staff gave me a card in case I change I mind. The card now's somewhere. The last time I remember seeing it was on the bottom of my trash bin. Pitiful experience… but that doesn't prepare you for this face to face with a horse.
