I was thinking of cancelling my prior appointment with Neil came the next day. The weather was rainy, and I wanted some more hours in the bed to cuddle with the pillows and the extra-soft cushions. The gentle tip-taps on the roof and the ground smelling of petrichor was intoxicating to the senses. I'd like to enjoy some more, but he texted me once again, the 8th time today at 11:45 am, and I had no other choice but to say yes. To be fair, if we were on opposite ends, he won't cancel on me. Never had.

With two more rolls on either side of the bed, I got up to prepare. I took my breakfast at 10 am today so I feel full and I guess lunch was no longer necessary. For all I know, we'll be eating at the mall anyway.
