Tenji turns back around slowly before replying calmly, "we need to train ourselves first since it'll help you all get used to fighting under pressure... plus it'll also give an idea of where exactly you stand compared to each other."
Rumi looks away from everyone else as she mutters quietly into her thoughts, "why do I even bother trying?"
"Rumi," Tenji calls her name softly as he approaches her side gently placing one hand on her shoulder lightly. She flinches at the sudden touch of his fingers briefly. Amused by the little contact he had just made with her body he continues talking in a soft voice that only Rumi can hear clearly enough. "You're the first who will test out dueling with Grisha in front of us all today so please try your best not to embarrass yourself in front of the others, okay?"
Rumi nods silently and glances over to Asahi who was standing next to him before turning back to look straight ahead without saying anything aloud this time instead.
