With so many monkeys using baskets to pick fruit all over the mountain, could it be they are gathering the fruit to share with everyone in one place?
Not every monkey has come out, have they?
Or is it possible that monkeys also enjoy the pleasure of holding banquets and sharing fun times?
Jiang Tang had thought this, and so had others. They all just waited for those fruit-picking monkeys, ready to follow them to see where exactly they would go and what a monkey banquet would be like.
As dusk approached, Jiang Tang did not, as usual, cook for everyone to eat well before getting to work.
Instead, he quietly watched from above with the rest, thinking there might be a fruit meal later.
Sure enough, as nightfall drew near, the fruit-picking monkeys jumped down from the trees like humans, baskets in hand, and headed in one direction.
They arrived at a plain beyond what was earlier seen, beside which was a cave.
