The shop assistant couldn't drive people away—it was part of their service ethos, for fear of offending valued customers, friends of the boss.
"Gentlemen, our boss is in seclusion and cannot be seen. You can speak with two of our shop's shareholders. If you can't get in touch with the shareholders to handle business, you can also seek out our shopkeeper to arrange a meeting with the boss," the assistant said.
"Alright! Let's meet your shareholders—Ye Tian and Su Chang'an."
"I'm sorry, but the shareholder Ye Tian is very busy, so it might be easier to schedule a meeting with the shareholder Su Chang'an," the assistant remembered that they had only seen Ye Tian once when the shop opened and had not seen him since, whereas Young Master Su Chang'an had visited several times.
"Then it's settled. Where is Su Chang'an? Let's arrange a meeting with him."
"Please come inside to the parlor, gentlemen, and I will contact Young Master Su Chang'an for you," the shop assistant said.
