Jiang Tang opened his eyes to find himself in the space, puzzled as to why there were sounds of relatives screaming and calling out.
Those two voices were indeed those of his current body's parents and the brothers he recognized from this body's village, along with some uncles and aunts who had perished in a disaster, their cries now emanating as spirits.
Since transmigrating, Jiang Tang had only visited the village once to pay respects to his parents. He had not paid respects to the villagers and was unaware of how many had died.
After his parents' death, they had not appeared in his dreams. Why were their cries, sounding so vivid and close, coming from not far outside his space at this particular moment?

Eryao rushed over joyfully and then seemed on the verge of tears, choking up with emotion.
