Fan Dingding and her group, after a day of waiting, enjoyed a calm day, but as night approached, it seemed the fog cleared just a little, sharpening their vision. The pink flowers of the Immortal Vine resembled peach blossoms in size, but differed in that peach blossoms were accompanied by leaves and bloomed in different seasons.

Peach blossoms bloomed in the spring following winter, whereas the Immortal Vine was different. Not only did its blooming patterns differ, but the days on which it bore fruit were also unusual.

Now, in the height of summer, with the evening sky tinged with the faint hues of sunset, the mist dissipated just enough for them to see the area beneath the canopy. Immortal Vines were everywhere, a sea of pink reaching as far as the eye could see.

There were no other mountains in sight; this place seemed to be a valley, surrounded by what appeared to be plains, which might have been covered by the Immortal Vines.
