The Lost's heart almost instantly jumped up to his throat, his whole face instantly turned deathly white, and his knees began to buckle uncontrollably as if he was about to kneel on the spot.
Fortunately, at this moment, Kerr Cowell spoke up to divert their attention.
"Until we meet again, I'm off."
After he finished speaking, Kerr Cowell didn't hesitate; instead, he turned and walked toward the Illusion Gate next to him, disappearing from the spot.
Scar Dog, on the other hand, grinned and pulled out two cigarettes, tossing one each into X and The Lost's laps, before waving his hand and striding into the Illusion Gate.
"Not bad."
After Scar Dog and Kerr Cowell left, Eddison Ward gave X a thumbs up and said with a satisfied expression: "Brother, you sure know how to play. Keep up the good work."
Then Eddison Ward and his party nonchalantly walked into the Illusion Gate, disappearing from the spot.
Soon after, the Illusion Gate faded.
