"Ladies and Gentlemen,"
Kerr Cowell looked up at the dark, stormy sky overhead. He held a cane in one hand and put a clown's mask over his cheek. As he looked at the people before him, there was a hint of laughter in his eyes and his lips turned up slightly.
"Have you forgotten? I am the Creator you have waited for thousands of years," he said lightly.
"I created the entire universe,"
"And you, are my most faithful disciples."
"You are those who are willing to fight and die for me."
The next second—
The people circling him had a moment of confusion. Then their pupils swiftly filled with visible fanaticism. They froze, their bodies stiffening in mid-charge, before dropping their knee into the water.
With their right hand high above their head and on one knee in the storm, they looked fervently at Kerr Cowell in the center and roared, "We welcome our Lord!"
"We welcome the descent of our Lord!"
"With the arrival of our Lord, this world will be judged by our Lord."
