Chapter 39 - No Title

Then, they had heard the whole prayer clearly and witnessed the entire thing. The entire thing was just so magical to the point that they forgot to open their mouth.

Even after the soft light expanded and only the stabbed short sword remained on the hard marble floor, the eyes of everyone were still staying on this half stabbed short sword covered in blood.

The silence was broken by Tina as she asked, "How? Now do you believe me that we are all going to survive?"

Julia laughed and scolded, "Damn, girl, why didn't you take this out earlier ? We might have been able to do many things with this?"

Tina blushed and answered, "I wanted too if it was possible but i only remembered about it a few minutes ago."

On the side, after hearing the sudden question which was almost the same meaning as he asked Julia before, Brian rolled his eyes and chuckled softly, "What? You mad woman still knew to plan ahead? Why didn't you tell me about your C4 earlier too?"

Julia said, "Am I not telling you right now? Besides, can these two thing be the same?"

Brian insisted, "It is the same. But your thing is more important. Her artifact could protect this house at anytime but we need to place your C4 in their places to cause maximum damage to those monsters. Now because of you, we are too late to place these C4."

Julia grabbed the shotgun and glared at him, "So, Brian. Are you blaming me?"

Brian suddenly feels tired and headache due to unreasonable Julia. Since he couldn't afford, he simply raised his hands high and stopped talking even though he knew that the old lady would not shoot at him. Well, it was just their normal bickering, and the other old friends also knew it. They chuckled softly and started to chat in low voice when they saw the white flag of Brian.

Brian waved his hand at Tina and Pedro and said, "We understand what's going on. So, if you have nothing to do, go back to your sentry position. Although we don't have to be afraid of invasions thanks to Tina, but sentry is still a necessary thing. As for the Gods, we will talk about that later if we can survive through this. Thanks for your artifact girl. You surely saved us."

Tina nodded to show her understanding and took Peter to the kitchen.

"Did it cost you anything? You don't have to hide these from me."

In the kitchen, Peter pulled Tina gently to his front and asked while intently looking at her eyes.

Tina smiled and gave him the most satisfying answer, "No, it didn't cost me anything. What were you thinking about!"

Then, she slapped his chest while rolling her eyes, "Great Ixchel is not the evil god. I just had to unseal it before I guided it according to my will and need. Fortunately, I still remembered the first step. Otherwise, I might not know other necessary steps. Magical, isn't it? I got user friendly instructions from it after I smeared my blood on it. Hehe. Now, we are safe."
