Chereads / Isekai From Hell: Modded Skyrim / Chapter 54 - Howling at the Moon IV

Chapter 54 - Howling at the Moon IV

"Moss?!" A muffled Lokir cries out.

"Milmy?!" Followed by a muffled Sophia.

While Kasia simply passes out in complete shock and lack of comprehension.

"Is that… Papa? He came to save us!" Lucia asks hopefully, while the screams and struggling of Dornir can be heard as he is pulled up to the roof before a terrifying roar is heard and a scream that becomes fainter and fainter (Like a Wilhelm Scream) as if they were flung a great distance before the lumbering figure returns to the mid-level room of the Tower.

Its gleaming dark green claws reflect the firelight as those present hold their breath, worried that they may be the next one to feel the ire of this beast that slaughtered their capturers. The only sound to be heard is that of the beasts faint panting and the crackling of the fireplace. Before the beast kneels down and meets the gaze of a confused M'rissi forcing her to stare into its amber eyes.

The wounds from its battle were seemingly all gone despite the obvious blood trails that could have only come from his battle wounds.

The beast slowly brings its clawed hands toward M'rissi causing her to initially freeze in shock which gave the beast enough time to cut her free from her bindings making her stare in even greater confusion into the fiercely intelligent eyes that seemed to have yet to look away from her.

And it's then that the beast brings the smooth back of its claws to M'rissi's heavily bruised face and slowly caresses her wounds, pleasantly chilling her wounded cheeks with their metallic feeling.

~Purrr~ M'rissi hums in delight, closing her eyes, despite the threatening aura emanating from the beast.

And as this surreal scene continues the beast begins to shrink as their form reverts to that of Silvantus, though his eyes still hold an amber hue and white hair crests the tips of his hair that now reaches down to his shoulders where it had previously only started to fill back in to finger length after he had shaved his head in the river.

A deep baritone voice comes from Silvantus' lips saying, "Thazag ha nakazz regaa... Kigiji ekko." In a language incomprehensible to all that are present with a sad and forlorn smile etched into his face as he leans in and kisses a surprised but pleased M'rissi on the lips before his eyes return to that of their original violet hue and he passes out on top of M'rissi as everything fades to black.

A pleasant lullaby flows through my ears as I begin to wake up from a dreamless sleep with a soft sensation cradling my head as I look up to see M'rissi staring down at me with a flushed face as she hums.

"You are awake… That's good… She is… Pleased…" M'rissi mumbles as she runs her hand through my hair absentmindedly…

"What happened… Why am-" I start to ask before M'rissi places her finger on my lip to hush me.

"You saved her, and everyone else. That's all that matters to her and everyone else… We… Dealt with the bodies…" M'rissi says looking away from me.

"Bodies? What bodie-" I start to ask before a pain like a spear stabbing through my skull rips through my head and I cry out as the memories of the previous night's events are replayed through my mind and I shout out, "AAAHHH!!!" As I roll off of M'rissi's heavenly lap and onto the floor.

"Fluffy?!" M'rissi exclaims in shock attempting to console me as I writhe around attempting to adjust to the sudden flash of emotion, the thrill of the hunt… The fury of seeing something I love at the mercy of another… The relief at having the strength to protect it… And the confirmation of the presence of the other person inside my head.

As the rest of the world fades away while I focus on processing all of this, I vaguely feel my body being lifted onto the bed as I hear the room fill up around me before my vision refocuses. I see all of my companions, the leader of the Khajiit Caravan, Lucia, and… An old orc?

"Alright… I guess I have some explaining to do." I say with a sigh.

"But first… What are you doing here?" I say turning to the old orc.

"I am Gringar the Shameful, I have come to face Blüdtuth, I seek my good death." Gringar says reminding me of that one random encounter.

"Good for you, who's Bloodtooth?" I ask confused as I don't remember this being a part of the quest.

"You are, do you not know the old tales? Did you not grow up in a stronghold?" Gringar asks in confusion.

I turn to Ri'saad, Grelka, and Mauricurio, before asking them, "I have some personal information to discuss with my friends and family, Do you three mind waiting downstairs."

They all assent to my request and head down, letting me return my focus to those who remained. Sophia, Kasia, M'rissi, Lucia, Lydia, Lokir, Inigo, Jenassa, and Gringar.

*Sigh*

"Alright... Inigo already knows this... But I have amnesia..." I say before looking to everyone... Before realizing that Kasia, M'rissi, and Sophia seem to be averting their eyes from me.

"Wait... You knew?!" I ask in shock.

"We... Kinda... Overheard you talking to Mr. Inigo that night..." Kasia mumbles while the other two look down at their feet.

"Huh... I see... Well, for those who haven't eavesdropped on my conversations," I say with a cheeky smirk, "I have no memories of my life before waking up at the executioner's block with Lokir."

"What… Then what about you-" Lokir begins to ask in confusion before I hold up my hand to stop him.

"I know what you were going to ask… And yes… And no… I don't know exactly how I got my knowledge of the future, but I have been using it to my advantage. And I will continue to do so, to build a land where all are welcome. Regardless of race, affliction, or patronage… And… I still consider you my brother, I'm sorry for keeping this from you… But I was quite disoriented when I first woke up and was unsure of who to trust." I explain to him.

"I… I see… I will need some time to process this, Boss… But please continue." Lokir says before taking a seat to get his bearings.

"That's basically it, I've been using this foreknowledge to strengthen myself and those around me… The latest one of which was joining the Companions to become a lycanthrope, a werewolf… But something went… Different? Maybe you can help explain that." I say with confusion turning to Gringar.

"This is… Strange… I will help… If, you promise to give me a good death, I will help you found Orsinium." Gringar says while rubbing the stubble on his chin.

"Orsinium? What's that? And what exactly is a bloodtooth?" I ask letting him take the floor so to speak.

(Author's Note- Sorry for the Interruption.)

(Hey, everyone who has been following and supporting this novel, I hate to shill out after everything you've done to support my fanfic. But unfortunately, fanfics can't get contracted by Webnovel to my knowledge. So I have to resort to begging for your help from my most popular series and its fans to give my new series "End Times: My Apocalypse System" some love and support so I can hopefully become contracted. It will be recommended on Fresh Stories starting the first day of the New Year's. It is a story about the zombie apocalypse and an 'experimental' system meant to assist the MC in allowing the survival of humanity through this crazed catastrophe. He doesn't know everything, is prone to mistakes and errors, and is a flawed man, but he is trying his best to save who he can. This will also be a harem novel, and I aim for it to be in the same vein of tastefulness as this series and the last thing of note is it is on an alternate earth and who knows the differences and similarities between our worlds? I hope to see some of you there to support my other work if you can, and if not I hope you still follow this series. Much love and Merry New Year's)
