"Oh? You most be thinking of the old Thieves Guild. You see, they've recently acquired some new talent," I say motioning towards me and Inigo, "And I think we do exceptionally well at protecting ourselves."
"Ha! Don't fool yourself. It's only a matter of time before you people are run out of Riften." Bersi retorts.
"You know, Blue? I think I've had enough of this." I say to Inigo.
"As have I. Now, I have a lot to do, so I'm afraid you'll just have to leave!" Bersi says, pointing towards the door.
"Well, Green. It appears he does not want to pay." Inigo says, moving to block the door.
"Yes, it appears so… I guess I have no choice but to resort to plan B." I say, slowly making my way to the dwarven urn.
"Yes… Plan B… What exactly was plan B again?" Inigo asks, looking to me with a tilted head and an inquisitive look.
"Oh, it's quite simple really," I say with a smirk, "It's plan B for Breaking." I say knocking over the urn to the ground.
Where it provides an all too anticlimactic bounce before rolling slightly.
"Please, I don't have anything to pay you with! Don't destroy my urn!" Bersi pleads.
I wind up for a solid stomp as I bring my foot down with all my might, even using my shockwave ability for some extra umph… To only crack it slightly…
"Stop! That is priceless!" Bersi shouts.
"Are you okay my friend, do you need some help?" Inigo asks, moving to help before I motion him to stop.
"I got this!" I shout as I pull out the headsman's axe from the Rat Way and swing it down on the urn, straining to through every once of strength I've got into this blow. Which only makes the crack widen slightly.
What the hell is this damn urn made from?! Seriously!
"I swear, if I had it, I'd pay! There's no need to do that!" Bersi whines.
"It's okay to ask for help, my friend. I would not look down on you for it." Inigo says.
"That's it! I am done playing nice!" I grab the urn and start casting fire in my left hand and ice in my right, rapidly heating and cooling it before it finally cracks into three solid pieces after pouring half of my mana into the damned thing.
I turn to Bersi, slightly winded and ask, "You… Want me… To break…Anything else?"
"All right! I get it. I'll pay on time from now on. Just don't smash anything else! Here, take your gold and leave me in peace." Bersi says tossing me a bag of 100 gold.
"There, that wasn't so hard, now was it?" I say, taking the bag and leaving to go to the Inn to meet Keerava.
"My friend, was it just me… Or do we need to work on our villainous alter egos?" Inigo asks.
"I think you might be right, probably going to have access to some standard Thieves Guild gear once we actually make it in… But a face mask and actual code name would be good to have… I know I definitely don't want to go by Green." I admit to him.
"Yes, I think I would look quite fetching in an eye patch. Perhaps, Scars for me and Vandal for you?" Inigo suggests.
"That's not half bad, I think I quite like it actually. We'll establish our alter egos after I deal with Keerava, deal?" I say extending my hand which Inigo shakes firmly.
"It is a deal my friend! Hear that Mr. Dragonfly, I am going to be a criminal mastermind! What do yo mean I am more suited to be a minion? I am at the very least a trusted henchman!" Inigo says beginning a long discussion with the bug in his jar.
I enter the Inn and make my way toward Keerava who is wiping a mug at the counter.
Walking up I say to her in a voice only the two of us can hear over the din of the Inn, "I have a message for you from Brynjolf."
"Look, everything was all just a misunderstanding. I didn't mean to tell Brynjolf to go jump off the pier. You'll tell him I'm sorry, yes? Take this, every single coin I owe is there, I swear it!" Keerava says while handing me a sack of 100 gold, forcing me to hold a stern face as I fight back the urge to laugh.
"This'll do nicely. Thanks for paying your dues. I wish you a fine day, Madam." I reply, nodding my head and going upstairs to check on Sofia and the girls, leaving Inigo to his own devices downstairs.
I hear muted whispers as I make my way upstairs, I can't make out what's being said, but I definitely can tell M'rissi is doing most of the talking, instead of skulking around like a common thief... Which I am currently... I just enter the room unannounced.
Catching M'rissi who's currently topless...
"Ugh! She cannot believe that that temptress would get sick on her and go back to sleep like nothin-... Mreow? Fluffy, why're you back so soon?" M'rissi asks, innocently cocking her head to the side, causing her petite mounds to jiggle ever so slightly making me audibly gulp.
"Uh..." I so eloquently say as my brain begins to short circuit at the sight, before Kasia thankfully steps in, albeit quite flustered herself.
"Ms. M'rissi! Please cover yourself! It's improper for a man to see your... You know!" Kasia exclaims will covering M'rissi and then shooing me out with a myriad of unintelligible words. Leaving me outside the room alone, slowly rebooting my brain from that heavenly sight...
I start to make my way deeper into the Rat Way before a thought crosses my mind... Why did M'rissi cause such a strong reaction in me that I could barely function, when I saw Sofia in a much more exposed state and yet could still function fairly well? Maybe I like her more?
As I'm lost in my thoughts, definitely not replaying recent events in my head, I eventually wander to where I'm supposed to be... Meeting Brynjolf.
