Doctor Bedelia was only close to her brother and her niece. Everyone in the pack regarded her as cold and a stuck-up doctor who thought whatever she said goes. And ever since she learned her brother didn't give a damn whether the pack said his luna was fucked by everyone in the pack, Doctor Bedelia shut her earlobe to whatever the pack said.
And when it came to her heart, it was as hard as it came. Only once did she lessen it when she found her mate and just as it lessened it hardened since she didn't get to enjoy enough moments with her.
On the day of the attack, Doctor Bedelia had traveled to City Blue for a surgery emergency the hospital called her in. She couldn't say no, after all, her mate's sister had been the one who called her.
This day, if anyone asked her, she would say she would have preferred to stay back and die in the hands of the beasts instead of coming back to a pack that was mourning the death of their lost ones.
