Chapter 53 - Why So Tense?

She was creeping him out, he cleared his throat, the anger he felt before replaced with a rush of fear, her eyes spoke of volume, and the way her lips curled told him he clearly said the wrong thing at the wrong time.

"Marina. I..." He paused, thinking she would stop him. Honestly, if she did, he would have had the chance to gather up an excuse for why he said something like that. Unluckily, Marina raised an eyebrow at him.

"Give me a few minutes. We will get your father." He said, knowing well she might go berserk if he called her father, 'the body.'

Marina hummed, sniffed in then hummed, she stared at Mannequin still on the floor and asked, "what are you doing? Get up and find my father, without him, there is no competition and without the competition, there is not me, and without me, there is no Fishers Pack, are you following?"

She cocked her eyebrows at Mannequin, "mmh? Are you?"
