Chapter 4 - Chap 4 - Dangerous Lands.

Even though the princess has been living with us for two weeks, the girls still do not get along.

I decided to separate them for now, each one was in a part of the shelter, so I had to increase the rooms. But it was worth it, or else I'd have to separate fights all day.

Since the cat girl was reluctant to share her name, I decided to give her one. This pleased her very much, since it had a profound meaning in her tribe. I wasn't able to understand this, and when I asked, she blushed.

After a month, Isabela was already able to hunt with us, so I decided to perform a rotation to prevent the girls from fighting without me realizing it.

Princess Isabela was exceptionally talented with water and healing spells, but she lacked mana because her spells had a high cost.

Since her mana reserve was too low, she was judged to be incompetent and the magic given to her was more of a curse than a blessing.

With Stella's help, I was able to meet Isabela's needs. Isabela has great potential that has not yet been explored. It's a pity that my knowledge of magic is only what I learned from Stella.

Isabela gradually became accustomed to my sister, until she reached a point where she could use her as if it were natural for her.

Stella's father felt it was a waste to spend magic training on a daughter who had no magical potential.

When Isabela began learning magic, she developed her own style.

Five months passed, and according to Isabela, the day of the call of the heroes was approaching. Her first mission would be in a land considered weak and lifeless—that is, where we live.

Stella suggested that we take the fight to them so that they would be caught off-guard when she arrives. Personally, I found this to be unnecessary. Isabela agreed with me because she was afraid of her father. When the time comes, we will see what's the best way to proceed.

For the first time in months, the two girls were getting along. Stella was trained to kill the heroes if necessary, while Isabella was trained to protect herself. According to her, she would not disturb us if a conflict started.

After a week, a riot broke out in the forest and the heroes, accompanied by their entourage, finally arrived.

We approached them intending to introduce ourselves, all I ask is that each party go their own way after the conversation.

To make a positive impression, I decided to start introducing myself.

"I am Adam and I live in this land, Isabela and Stella, we will not stand in your way, good luck."

I believe I was able to convey everything I came here to discuss, since I said everything directly, looking at a blond boy riding a horse.

There were two additional girls in his company, both dressed in strange clothing and riding horses.

"Why would I believe such a thing? As far as I know, this would be an uninhabited land, all we had to do was rescue the princesses. Now, we have to fight monsters that our master doesn't even know exist."

I understand that Isabela didn't tell you everything, but if what this young man said is true, this is a rescue mission, not an initial mission.

"I am equally perplexed, since my arrival this land has always been like this."

I'm unable to defend myself against this, since I'm not aware of what it's about.

One of the girls approached me.

"If you don't explain yourself, we will find you guilty of the princess's abduction."

"Don't get too close to the girl from another Earth."

Stella used some kind of intimidation technique to pull the horse away.

My whole plan of a peaceful conversation went to the hole.

The boy, who was calm until then, struck me straight in the neck, but he was stopped by Stella, who threw him against a tree.

The girls attacked Isabela because they mistakenly believed that I had kidnapped her.

She used a water shield to get rid of them.

I'm not sure what I can do besides try to imitate what I've seen of Stella's fight over the past few months and take on these guards.

Since they seemed unwilling to listen, I took a knife I used to prepare meat and went straight for the attack. That was the only way I felt I could survive.

SLASH.

To my surprise, they were easier to defeat than I had expected, since I was able to defeat them without any difficulty.

"That is enough." An elderly man shouted. "I request a one-on-one duel with your commander to stop such a stupid fight."

"That's a stupid idea. You should try to stop a fight with another fight." Stella said. "Do not be mistaken, master, his only goal is to attempt to embarrass us. We have the advantage."

I understand that, but there is nothing I can do.

"I accept your offer."

"When you are ready, please let me know."

"There is a ready person."

The gentleman immediately got off the horse, then removed his sword from the scabbard to come directly to me. His sword was slow, so you can think of several ways to finish the duel. I decided to knock him out.

"He defended the master of swords so well."

I'm sorry, but this weak-looking gentleman is their master? It was Decadent.
