'You got it all wrong, master.' Lennox spoke up. After that, there was a brief pause, which only added to Vandread's confusion. He was sure that was how it should've meant when Lennox did that, however, Vandread's assumptions were written off when Lennox followed up to his recent response.
"It was because you let go of the nemesis, master," Lennox said. The expression on Vandread's face, which was already bewildered, became even more perplexed as a result of Lennox's statement.
"Are you implying that the blame lies with me? What nonsense!" Right away, Vandread raised an objection.
He had a hard time believing that a system that was inferior to him would one day have the audacity to point the finger of blame at him for something that was clearly the fault of the system itself.
