Humans are social creatures! Be it back on Earth or on the Tower.
Not just the humans, all living creatures except some prideful beings like Dragons and others, liked to flock together.
There was no special reason for it, 'A bundle of sticks was harder to break than a lone one.'
In the Tower where death looms over one's head all the time, the chances of survival would increase if they depend on one other so it was an obvious thing to do That's why they created various guilds in the Tower.
Weirdly enough, Even the tower supported them!
The tower created separate special floor challenges that could be taken in groups or with teams. It was a new system that concentrated on teamwork, it greatly helped those who had reached their limit and couldn't go further up the Tower.
But It wasn't always like this before.
Before the 'Great War', there were only individual challenges, if one couldn't clear the floor with their own power then that was the end of their potential.
But suddenly after the 'Great War', the tower changed the rules and massively modified the Tower climbing processes.
What happened in the 'Great War' for the Tower to make massive decisions like this? In the first place what was this 'Great War'? If it is a War, Who were the ones who fought in the War? nothing was known to the public.
But thanks to introducing the group challenges, the average level of the players rose by a huge margin and the number of rankers also saw a massive increase.
The number of small and medium-scale guilds increased by a lot as a system-approved Guild system was bought into effect by the Tower.
But even then the huge guilds continued to exist and rule over the Tower.
Among them, the one that shined the brightest was 'The Demon coterie'.
It was formerly a hidden Organization that was run by a person who was called the 'Fist King' to keep the big guild in check. But suddenly after the 'Great War', it was announced as an Open Organization.
There were stories that say that the one who ran the guild in the dark was none other than the 'Crazy Necromancer', but neither the guild nor the Crazy Necromancer had ever said anything about that.
After the death of the Fist King, his son who surpassed him and acquired the title 'Fist Emperor' inherited that position, leading the guild to become one of the top guilds in the Tower!
Legend has it that 'the Fist Emperor' was from the same generation as that of the 'Crazy Necromancer' and was one of his close colleagues but no one knew if that was true or not, as the ones who were alive after seeing the Crazy Necromancer were very rare as to be counted by hands!
And currently, In a dark room of some shabby building, the Fist emperor was standing looking out of the windows while having a glass of red wine in his hand.
Unlike the image of a muscle-man that would come to head at the name of the Fist emperor, he had quite a fit figure with a mature look on his face.
He was looking out of the window from where the whole view of a medieval city was visible.
"Time is nearing, Senior"
He said sipping the wine from the glass.
A black shadow materialized behind him out of nowhere, it looked like a man who was in his 40s with a slim-fit body and a deep scar on his face running from his left eye to his mouth.
The shadowed figure didn't say anything but continued to listen to the Fist Emperor.
"The Prophecy of the Future, Time has come for the prophecy!"
"hm"
The shadowed figure nodded at him silently.
"We are already thoroughly prepared, our men are on every corner of the first floor to welcome 'him'"
The Fist emperor turned around to face the shadowed man, looking into his eyes, he said in a serious tone.
"If the one that appears has an evil heart, we have to eliminate him as soon as possible"
"Do not worry, The movement his presence is known, he would be bought in front of you"
The Fist emperor still seemed uneasy "But...Forget it, I feel like I should go there personally"
An expression of astonishment appeared on the shadowed figure which was quickly replaced by his indifferent face.
"Don't be hasty, you too know how risky it is for you to move down!"
"I know but...."
A grave look appeared on the Fist emperor's face.
"....You too know what happened to 'Bramhalok' and 'Vaikunta' don't you, senior? If any member makes even a slight mistake then it will be too late to resolve it."
The hairs on his body stood as the shadowed figure reminded himself of a certain event of the past.
"...."
He got silent for a minute before opening his mouth.
"Even then it is too risky for you to move, instead I will go there"
The Fist emperor seemed unconvinced but agreed, seeing that the man was unwilling to let him go personally.
The Fist emperor turned away again looking at the distant mountains.
"In that case, I will not say anything more, just remember who we are dealing with and that we were not the only ones who know about the prophecy!"
"I will keep that in mind"
He nodded his head and was getting ready to move...
"One more thing"
He stooped in his tracks once again looking at the back of the fist emperor.
"If it is his descendent, He surely will not agree to come back with you, don't do anything excessive just ask him to be careful and give him some information regarding the legacies!"
"I will keep that in mind"
Saying so he dissolved into the shadows as the Fist emperor was left alone in the room with a glass of wine in his hand.
"The darkness is going to descend into the Tower, the chaos will soon begin!"
The glass in his hand was shaking just remembering about a certain man, he made effort to hold it straight as he said!
"I hope not many lives will be lost this time!"
He sipped the wine, hoping that he would hear good news.
