Ding!
[You have entered the 1st floor ]
[The floor challenge will start shortly]
[Defeat the floor guardian to move onto the next floor]
Michel read the notifications that invaded his view as soon as he entered the portal leading to floor trial.
"I just need to defeat the floor guardian? isn't that too easy"
He thought looking at the space in front of him.
The place where he was transported to was a massive hall with high sealing, so high that he barely even saw the sealing of it given his high stats.
The hall was empty with nothing but a stone altar in the middle, wait there was something on the altar, a big white skull?
Michel wondered what it was but eventually ignored it looking for the guardian that was mentioned in the messages.
"Now, now isn't the guardian too lazy in doing their job? Do I have to wait till he is summoned here or something?"
Michel looked all over the hall but except for the fairly large skull on the stone altar, there was nothing else.
Michel who got bored looking around the empty hall went over to the stone altar, sitting beside the White skull.
"Hey buddy, do you know where the guardian is?"
"...."
As expected there was no response.
"Wait a minute, let me show you something interesting, aren't you pretty lonely here, I have some skeleton buddies with me, do you want to see them?"
"...."
Once again there was no response!
"They say silence means acceptance, then let me introduce them to you"
If anyone had seen what was happening here, they would have thought of Michel as a nut job or a mental retard! I mean who in the right mind would talk with a random skeleton skull in the middle of a floor challenge?
"Hey Wyatt, skeletons come out and meet Mr.Skull"
At this point, it was a wonder if Michel was really well mentally or not.
He summoned Wyatt and his other skeletons who appeared holding some random weapons!
The skeletons were standing in a line with Wyatt in front, they seemed slightly more orderly than they were on the Tutorial, it was a sign that Wyatt, who had evolved into a Goblin skeleton warrior was growing constantly and was also controlling the skeletons assuming the position of a leader.
But that wasn't what was important now, it was the fact that the nutjob Michel had summoned them not to fight but to introduce them to a skull in the Trial!!
It may all seem like a crazy act at first look, but what Michel was trying to do was something meaning full.
As soon as he noticed there were no guardians on the first floor, he knew that the trial had something to do with the Skull on the stone altar.
As he got near the skull, Michel could feel a small amount of Necrotic energy that was laying dormant in it, it meant it still had some...energy? since it would be too weird to say that a skull had life.
But what Michel didn't understand was that the system still hasn't informed him at the start of the Trial, which meant that there was some triggering condition for the Trial to begin!!
'If the skull was the guardian of the first floor, then the triggering condition would probably be attacking it!"
He thought as he looked at the skull that had no response to his acting!
'Then what if I don't attack it?'
He had this weird thought and wanted to test out what might happen if he didn't attack the skull.
So He summoned all his skeletons along with Wyatt, to check out, what would happen!
But weirdly enough there was no response from the skull!
"Hmmm.....Does the mechanism don't follow, if I don't attack the skull? then what if I infused it with my Necrotic energy"
A necromancer is a being who controls the dead, no matter if it's a skull or a corpse.
Having a Necromancer class is not all about having the skills and summoning the skeletons, there was more to it than the eyes could see.
Theoretically, he should be able to control the skull if he infuses it with necrotic energy strong enough to overpower, whatever the amount that has been used to control it.
"Might as well give it a try"
He asked the midget skeletons to stand around the stone altar, to act immediately if the skull activated due to his Necrotic energy, and starts to attack and bought his hand slightly above the skull.
"Here we go"
He started to channel the Necrotic energy in his head out towards the hand and was trying his best to infuse it into the skull.
The gaseous black aura came out of his hand surrounding the skeleton skull as a whole, and unlike his worries, the skull didn't move but started to accept his necrotic energy!
At first, he had to push the energy into the skull but as time passed, the skull started to devour the necrotic energy greedily.
"What the...!!"
It was to the point that his necrotic reserve was being sucked out by the skull.
Michel hurriedly removed his hand from there!
"What the hell was that?"
He screamed as he was surprised by the skull sucking at his Necrotic energy, but wait a minute! something is not right!
Michel slowly looked at the stone altar.
"....!!"
But the skull which was previously on it had disappeared!
Michel was about to look around when he noticed it! His Necrotic energy was still being sucked out!
He slowly turned his head down, denying the thoughts that clouded his head.
"...!"
The Skull, it was attached to his hand somehow.
"The fu*k! get off"
He swung his hand fiercely in the hopes of getting it out of his hand but to no avail, it was sticking to his hand as if it had glued together with him.
"Hey Wyatt, come here help me get this thing off"
He ordered Wyatt and the other skeletons, who came running to help.
The sight of a group of skeletons holding the wrist of a man and another group holding the skull in his hand and pulling them both was a spectacle to see.
And in midst of their struggle, when Michel's Necrotic reserve was about to be exhausted, they heard it...
{phuhahahah....}
