Chapter 30 - 29 The Challenge In Konoha

After Naruto and Team 7 completed a B-rank mission, they returned to Konoha only to be thrown back into the monotony of D-rank tasks: pulling weeds, picking up trash, and walking dogs. While such tasks were frustrating, Naruto felt relieved because his Shadow Clones were the ones handling them while his real body wandered through other parts of the ninja world.

Naruto had decided to quickly grow stronger and earn points for his personal system, which he called "The Killing Heart." He began accepting bounties from the black market and even sold Zabuza's head, which he had claimed during their previous mission, earning a substantial reward.

With his new abilities—[Kagura's Mind Eye] and [Perfect Transformation]—Naruto became a fearsome assassin capable of taking down even Jōnin-level opponents.

The Perfect Transformation wasn't just a simple transformation technique. It allowed Naruto to completely conceal the Nine-Tails' chakra within him, making it impossible for even the strongest sensory ninjas to detect his identity. This enabled Naruto to move freely without being recognized as Konoha's Jinchūriki.

Rumors began spreading across the ninja world about a "masked red-haired woman" believed to be a surviving member of the Uzumaki Clan and a highly skilled bounty hunter.

When the Third Hokage of Konoha caught wind of these rumors, he sent the Anbu to investigate. However, Naruto, utilizing Kagura's Mind Eye, was always one step ahead, evading capture with ease.

To increase his speed and mobility, Naruto upgraded his Deidara's Explosive Style technique, crafting a clay bird that allowed him to fly swiftly through the skies.

Over the course of two weeks, Naruto's travels—and the teleportation marks of the Flying Thunder God Technique—spread across the Land of Fire. At every location, he left mocking notes like: *Naruto was here!" In Chinese.

Meanwhile, his Shadow Clones back in Konoha continued to perform mundane tasks, earning praise for their diligence, while Naruto's real body hunted bounties and racked up points in his system.

His current stats were as follows:

- Age:12

- Strength: Elite Chūnin

- Points:*1000

- Abilities:Kagura's Mind Eye, Adamantine Sealing Chains, Multi Shadow Clone Technique, Exceptional Chakra Control, Flying Thunder God Technique…

After completing yet another boring dog-walking mission, Naruto's Shadow Clone approached Sasuke and said with a sly grin:

"Sasuke, let's have another match. I want to see how much stronger you've gotten."

Sasuke, ever the prideful one, replied, "Don't think you're special just because you've mastered a B-rank Wind Style jutsu. I've learned Chidori and the Body Flicker Technique from Kakashi!"

Naruto's eyes widened in surprise. "When did you learn Body Flicker?"

"Right after we got back from the Land of Waves," Sasuke replied smugly. "I guess Kakashi thinks I'm more talented than you."

Naruto clenched his fist in frustration, muttering internally about Kakashi's favoritism.

As the two bickered, two unfamiliar figures approached. One was a boy carrying a puppet on his back, while the other was a girl wielding a massive fan. They were none other than Kankurō and Temari of the Hidden Sand Village.

Kankurō sneered and said, "Body Flicker? Is that really all it takes to impress Konoha's ninjas? How pathetic."

Naruto and Sasuke immediately turned to face them, their tempers flaring. Naruto smirked and said, "Hey, Sasuke, let's make this interesting. You take one, and I'll take the other. First one to knock their opponent down wins!"

Sasuke glanced at Kankurō and replied coolly, "I'll take the puppet guy. I don't like dealing with women."

Naruto chuckled, "Fine by me. I'll take her. Don't worry; I'll go easy on her."

Temari's expression darkened. "We'll see who goes easy on whom," she snapped.

The group moved to a nearby training ground, the air thick with tension. This impromptu battle wasn't just about pride; it was a prelude to the upcoming Chūnin Exams, where everyone wanted to prove their worth.

But deep down, Naruto's goal was bigger. He needed to grow stronger—not just for the exams but to face Orochimaru, who he knew was lurking in the shadows. The real challenges were just beginning.
