Cultivating until late, Naruto still couldn't successfully summon anything more than a small toad. This left him feeling a bit frustrated, questioning if his talent was really that extraordinary.
Late at night, when Naruto lay in bed and sensed that Jiraiya had left and the nearby Anbu couldn't observe him directly, his eyes turned blood-red. The eight-pointed star-shaped Mangekyō Sharingan activated, gleaming ominously.
The power of the Mangekyō Sharingan seemed tailor-made to suppress tailed beasts. Naruto calmed his mind, and using the power of the Sharingan combined with advanced sealing techniques, he quickly located the Nine-Tails sealed within his body.
As his vision shifted, Naruto found himself in a dark, damp place. In front of him stood a towering metal gate with an enormous sealing charm plastered across it. This was the prison of the Nine-Tails.
"Boy, come closer to me!" growled the Nine-Tails.
From behind the gate, the massive visage of the Nine-Tails emerged. Its crimson eyes glowed with malice, and its voice dripped with dark temptation.
"I've seen everything you've done these past months! I don't know how you've gained this newfound strength, but I can sense your growing hunger for power," it continued. "Come closer, and I can give you more power than you can imagine!"
Naruto took a few tentative steps forward, feigning curiosity as he approached. The Nine-Tails' sinister grin widened, its claws twitching in anticipation of seizing Naruto the moment he got too close.
But just as the Nine-Tails lunged with a claw, Naruto leapt back swiftly and smirked. "Gotcha, you giant furball!"
The Nine-Tails roared in frustration, its fiery chakra surging outward only to be held back by the seal.
"You insolent brat!" it snarled, its claws scraping uselessly against the barrier.
"Relax," Naruto replied with a smug grin. "You might be a legendary beast, but right now, you're nothing more than a caged animal. If I wanted to, I could deal with you easily!"
He extended a finger and mockingly wagged it. "And now, let me show you why."
Naruto flicked his wrist, and Adamantine Sealing Chains—evolved into a more potent form through his mastery of sealing techniques—emerged from his hand. The chains snaked through the gate, wrapping tightly around the Nine-Tails' limbs and neck, immobilizing the beast.
"What... What is this?!" the Nine-Tails roared, struggling in vain against the unyielding chains.
"Meet my Binding Immortal Rope," Naruto said, smirking. "A little upgrade to the Uzumaki sealing arts. You're not going anywhere, fox."
With a leap, Naruto landed directly on the Nine-Tails' nose, drawing an angry glare from the beast. Without hesitation, Naruto stomped down hard.
"Ow!" The Nine-Tails' pained roar echoed in the chamber, but it could only endure Naruto's antics helplessly.
"You really don't get it, do you?" Naruto said, crossing his arms. "You've been chained up, beaten down, and controlled by countless shinobi over the years. You're just another stepping stone in my path to greatness."
The Nine-Tails snarled but stayed silent, its hatred for Naruto and the Mangekyō Sharingan burning hotter than ever.
Naruto crouched down and looked into its massive eyes. "But don't worry. I didn't come here to strike a deal or ask for your power. I just wanted to see you for myself."
With that, Naruto turned and began walking away, leaving the Nine-Tails to roar in impotent rage.
"Wait! You can't leave without removing this cursed rope!" it bellowed, thrashing futilely. Naruto ignored its cries, vanishing from the sealed chamber.
The next morning, Naruto was determined to perfect his Summoning technique. Opening his system panel, he exchanged points for skill upgrade scrolls to raise his Summoning Jutsu proficiency to a higher level.
By the time Jiraiya tested him again, Naruto confidently performed the hand signs and released a significant portion of his chakra.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
With a massive puff of smoke, Naruto found himself standing atop the giant toad boss, Gamabunta, his enormous figure towering over the surroundings.
Jiraiya stared wide-eyed at Naruto, impressed. "You summoned Gamabunta on your first serious attempt? Incredible!"
Gamabunta glanced around, his sharp eyes landing on Jiraiya. "What now, Jiraiya? Why did you summon me this time?"
"Actually," Naruto interrupted, grinning mischievously, "I'm the one who summoned you!"
Gamabunta turned his gaze toward the boy atop his head. "You? What makes you think you can summon me, brat?"
Naruto smirked and leaned down to pat the massive toad's head. "The name's Naruto Uzumaki. Heard of me?"
Gamabunta paused, recalling the name Toad Sage had mentioned. His tone softened slightly. "Hmm... Fine, kid. Let's see what you're made of. Stay on my head until sunset, and I'll acknowledge you."
Naruto grinned. "Deal!"
Gamabunta did everything in his power to shake Naruto off, leaping, spinning, and even thrashing around violently. But with his Swift Movement Technique [Shunshin no Jutsu], remarkable agility, and secret use of the Flying Thunder God mark he'd placed earlier, Naruto remained firmly atop the toad boss's head.
When night fell, Gamabunta finally relented. "Alright, brat. You win. You've got guts, I'll give you that."
With a puff of smoke, the massive toad disappeared, leaving a triumphant Naruto standing tall and grinning at the stunned Jiraiya.
