A few minutes ago.
Hearing the clipclops of a horse carriage,Mika sprang up from his seat.
"Yes! The tutor is here!",said Mika in a monotonous tone,albeit with no exclamation involved.
Mika stormed out of his room as he came downstairs only to find Rebecca,dressed in her maid attire , standing infront of the main door.
Strodding close to her,Mika questioned,"Is the tutor here?"
"Yes Young Master."
"Lets welcome her,then",said Mika with a smile.
Rebecca trudged forward towards the big door of the mansion only to reveal a fine Beauty.
The woman who stood on the entrance of the mansion,had long and silky black hair,tied into a pony tail and along with her black eyes,she was undoubtedly a gorgeous lady!
And along with her white blouse and long black skirt, complimentary to the heavy books on her fair hands and her gold rimmed spectacles,she looked like a stunning Scholar!
Mika never expected that the tutor would be a woman,not that he was complaining,but still.
'She is quite good looking too.But is it just Me or all the people in this world are better looking?'
'Maybe it has something to do with mana but what if someone doesn't have them? contemplated Mika.
But as he was looking at the woman,albeit with his usual deadpan face, scrutinizing every single detail of her body.
The woman felt otherwise.
The woman had a terrified look on her face and along with her usual puffy eyes,she looked scared as she looked at Mika.
She felt naked in front of his eyes,as if he was devoid of any emotions,much similar to her father.
But despite that fact ,she stepped inside the mansion with a determined face and introduced herself while bowing.
She picked up her black long skirt from both sides,kept her right leg behind her left and said in a robotic-yet quivering tone,
"Greetings,Young Ma-Master"
"My name is Catelyn Endenheart,former Imperial scholar of the court of Emperor Maxmillian Von Claudius"
"I have been appointed by the Emperor himself to be your tutor for a tenure of 2 years before you enter the Royal Academy."
"It's a pleasure meeting you.."
Mika just looked at her, dumbfounded by the sweet voice in which she talked,which was far more sweet that his mother,Linda.
But as she stood up straight,she suddenly stumbled and fell unconscious with a pale face,under the scrutinizing eyes of Mika.
Before her body hit the floor, Rebbeca disappeared from her position and caught the falling lady.
Then with a serious look on her face,she turned towards him and said,"Young master,please return to your room.It seems she has high fever and it won't be untill tomorrow that you will start your lesson."
Mika nodded at his maid's suggestion and said before going up the stairs ,
"Be sure to inform me after she wakes up ,okay."
"Sure ,Young Master",said Rebecca with a smile.
Turning around ,Mika came upstairs as he strodded towards his room as Rebbeca carried the woman towards her accomodation.
Looking at Rebbeca carrying her,Mika thought,
'Rebbeca must be pretty strong and considering how fast she moves,she must be a powerhouse,right?'
'Maybe...let's ask her to teach me something then'
Mika went upstairs,but this time he decided to enter the library in his mother's office rather than his own room.
Opening the already opened office room,Mika went inside and just stood infront of the 3rd lane of the library and just sighed looking at the books bound to the chains.
Knowing that he would not be able to touch them he decided to go through the titles of the book to select them in future,if he decided to become a mage.
As he went on, searching for good spell books,he came across a black coloured book with the title,
'AN INTRODUCTION TO ARTIFICING---Claxius Ottoman'
And surprisingly,despite not being in chains ,it was thinnest book placed in the 3rd lane of the Library.
Mika's eyes lit up, inwardly,as he saw this and decided to pick up the book,knowing fully well about the possibility of an electric shock running through his body.
But contrary to what he thought would happen,the book didn't electrocute his hand.
Mika was happy that the book was readable and with the budding feelings of happiness and anticipation, albeit in his mind ,he sat on the sofa and started reading the book.
The book was a basic arttificing manual regarding the creation of artifacts and rune making.
It explained on how a person has to be thorough in rune making before even considering taking up the job of an Artificer and gave special emphasis on mental concentration and hand to body coordination of the aspiring Artificers.These were the pivotal things a person needed to have to even start arttificing as it was a very difficult job and not many considered being one.
The book also mentioned that by being an Artificer ,the said person gained a neutral but exclusive spell called [Inspect],which helped them identity items as well as other things in the world.
Hence,the job of an Artificer was valued and they worked in collaboration with The Alchemists and The Blacksmith's.
And the only people that became artificers,were recruited by the Emperor himself.
And it wasn't just the human emperor,even the Elves were hungry for an Artificer and didn't judge based on ther race.
Such was the craze of an Artificer! A total bigshot!
But the number of Artificers the Theocracy had was only 3 and all of them were in the Master rank!
There was no one who had broken through the Grandmaster Rank,even Claxious Ottoman himself was just a Master Rank.
And the sad truth was, Claxious Ottoman,the only human Artificer was already dead.
And out of the two remaining Artificers,one of them was infact the Elven Queen herself and the other one was unknown.
It wasn't an easy job and required tremendous amount of skill and furthermore it didn't have a clear path,unlike the Alchemist or Blacksmithing.
It relied on self evaluation and foresight and along with some luck involved,would the person be categorised as an Artificer after his/hers enlightenment.
Only by acquiring the job exclusive spell called [Inspect] did the person qualify as an Artificer.
However,only the basic of the books existed and was released to the common masses.If one needed advanced knowledge regarding the art of arttificing,the only hope would be joining the Royal Academy.
And even the Academy can't give the credibility of the knowledge to awaken as an Artificer.
It was just wasn't worth it to be one.
Hence, it was a long lost job and all aspiring Artificers just shifted to another branch of Artificers,that is the Runemancers.
As a result ,the Academy didn't have any classes for Arttificing but had Classes for Runemancers.
People can become Artificers but only upto the Adept rank as breaking through into the Master rank required tonnes of experience and travelling and the young generation wasn't passionate enough to commit to such an endeavour.
Mika sighed after he closed the book.
'I was excited looking at the cover,but turns out it's just isn't worth pursuing this job'
'Only after a person travels the world and gets the so called Enlightenment ,would then he be able to awaken as an Artificer'
'Haa....guess I just wasted my time...'
But suddenly.....
'Ting'
Mika inwardly became stunned as he hurriedly called forth his status window only to find a thing,which made his expressionless face ,curve up into a grin,albeit forcefully,
=====
[Congratulations! The Skill Identify (Basic) lvl 1 has been generated ]
[Aquire more knowledge about the world to lvl up the skill to its higher versions!]
=====
'Hell yeah!',thought Mika.
Getting up from his seat and keeping the book on its place ,Mika walked back towards his room and sat on his bed.
Reaching out for his drawer,he brought forth another blank note book,a quill as well as the note Rebecca gave him every day.
Holding the quill in his hand ,Mika mentally comanded,
'Identify'
And surprisingly a transparent window generated infront of his retina , depicting the characteristics of the quill.
=====

'Wow! This is a really good skill! It can potentially help me increase the skill level as well as on reaching higher levels of mastery,it can help me pursue the Artificer job as well!'
'But if I suddenly reveal myself as an Artficer without proper Proof, won't the Emperor suspect me and furthermore,won't this body's father suspect me?..
'He might even kill me'
'No...I can't let other people know,until I graduate from the Academy atleast.'
'But for now....let's check up the other things in the room',thought Mika as he proceeded to pick up the note book next.
'Identify'thought Mika inwardly while focusing on the note book.
=====
[NOTEBOOK]
-ATK:1
-DEF:1-2
=====
Mika sighed looking at the item description.
'Haha,even in this world,books work wonders, enough to bring one out of povery', chuckled Mika inwardly.
Mika then kept the book as well as the quill inside the drawer as he stood up and cracked his knuckles.
Crack!
"Ah..let's go on a level up spree with this skill",said Mika with budding anticipation.
And so ,for the next 1 hour Mika inspected every thing.
Chairs,Tables,cups ,cutlery,windows,curtains,his shirts, pants,boots all the way up to his underwear!
He had inspected everything inside the room!
Finally, after an hour he came out of his room while looking at the notifications.

[Congratulations!The skill Identify (Basic) can be evolved into Identify (Intermediate)]
[Conditions Met ✓]
[Do want to proceed?]
[Yes][No]
=====
Looking at his status bar,Mika mentally comanded 'Yes'.
Instantly, a 'Ting' sound entered his ears as he checked his system again.
=====
[Congratulations!The skill Identify (Basic) lvl 25 has evolved into Identify (Intermediate) lvl 26]
[Aquire more knowledge to evolve the skill Mastery]
[The Skill [Identify] (Intermediate) lvl 26 can now also be used on other animate objects as well.]
=====
"Huh,so this is how the skill progression works,and it can also be used on other animate objects as well?.",said Mika loudly.
"Does that include humans too?Well, I'll find out later"
He now had some idea as to how these skills worked or how they proceeded.
From level 1-25 was Basic grade;
From level 26-75 was Intermediate grade;
And from Level 76-100 was Advanced grade;
And from then on the skill could be evolved into other versions.
But how he would do that,Mika didn't know.
And turns out that certain conditions need to be met before a skill could be evolved but considering this was a basic skill, furthermore a neutral one,it was allowed to be evolved without any restriction.
However,Mika speculated that his other important skills including his Bloodline Skills,if awakened,needed certain conditions ticked to evolve.
'So I need to reach level 100 with this [Identify] skill to unlock the [Inspect] skill which will further unlock the Artificer job'
'But for that , I need more things and particularly varities of things to identify in order to increase my mastery as its self explanatory that as the level increases ,the difficulty to level up also increases....',thought Mika as he came out the room.
But just as he was about to go to the library again,he realised as he muttered,
"Can't I inspect those weapons and antiques as well to increase my mastery?"
"Shit! How much of an idiot do I need to be to not even consider such a possibility",thought Mika while slapping his forehead ,without any expression ofcourse.
He stopped in his tracks and turned around to go towards the antiques kept inside the casings in the hallway.
He had decided to go towards the Obsidian Claymore to inspect it this time as he had a lingering feeling it would reap him a good deal of benefits.
Keeping his hand on the glass casings of the Obsidian Claymore,Mika muttered,
"Identify..."
