Slave Trader, as its name, that's where slaves come in and out.
There are many reasons for the existence of these Slave Traders in the harsh world, one of them being those who have a debt to someone and are unable to pay at the time promised in the contract letter. Slave Traders will act to provide services to those who have receivables by offering those who owe them to be turned into slaves, while Slave Traders will provide payment commensurate with the amount of receivables owned.
What the woman said, the maid who had previously greeted Nathan, the girl Nathan expected to appear turned out to be in debt to someone due to an urgent need. However, the girl was unable to pay on time, because it was always lacking when accompanied by the interest charged.

On the sides of the road, cages made of iron line up containing slaves being marketed in this lonely place. Of course, this should be an illegal business which needs a place that is not supervised by the city guards or the government.
Nathan acts as if he is a customer looking at the slaves he wants to buy after he steeled himself not to act rashly.
Come on, where are you girl... Nathan thinks while he notices side and side the road.
Hoping beforehand that the slave trader who was said to be named Leonardo doesn't notice his whereabouts, Nathan finally swallowed hard before turning towards the source of the voice, to which he's called.
"It seems Mr. Customer is looking for a slave, is there anything you are interested in? Or, perhaps I can help you if you tell me what kind of slave characteristics you need or are looking for?" Leonardo smiles with a characteristic that at the corners of his lips, it seems as if he had intentionally inserted a gold to make it sparkle.
It looks disgusting to Nathan, but he has to try not to show his discomfort.
"Oh? Yeah, I'm looking for beautiful slave girl. Can you show it to me? I hope you show me a new slave girl to feel fresher..."
"Hoho... Such is the passion of youth. I did get a girl not long ago. Please follow me, because newly acquired slaves are not immediately placed in these cages..." says Leonardo who immediately walks first towards a door.
Being behind the Slave Trader, Nathan wants to stab him in the back. However, he is afraid that it would make the situation even more chaotic and even make him unable to save the Servant Girl. He is not sure that he could kill humans, besides that he does not know how high the ability of this person named Leonardo is. Plus, it could be that Leonardo has a lot of people who are sure things will end badly.
Isn't observing and then making a better plan better than taking action in a rough way?
Entering the room after passing through a door, inside there is nothing but a place where people are drinking deliciously. But seeing no sign of Leonardo stopping in this room, Nathan breathes a sigh of relief. He has previously thought, Leonardo had already known the purpose of his coming to the place of slave illegal markets and brought to this room to besiege him.
Ah well, the slaves are placed in the underground secretly… Nathan thinks.
Passing another door, and there was also a door after it before the one facing upwards which in other words is in an unusual place in this quiet room, Leonardo opened it before entering it down.
Nathan who has swallowed hard immediately followed.
The air is starting to feel stuffy and there is a faint stench. Thinking about the Servant Girl in a place like this made Nathan feel angry with himself. Staring at the back of a Leonardo the Slave Trader in front of him, Nathan really wants to stab him in the back.
Be patient, Nathan! Make sure first, if there is a guard there or not... Nathan sighs slightly.
With Leonardo's silence, he seems to treat Nathan like any other customer who is used to being in this kind of place. Supposedly, Leonardo would feel bad about bringing customers to places that they feel are inappropriate for serving customers.
Seeing Leonardo who seems to be following the path that leads him to a bend in the road, Nathan steadies himself as soon as he hears the faint sound of the turn. It is obvious what Nathan has in mind, he imagines it is behind the bend that the slaves are being placed now.
Nathan is currently feeling very tense. In that relatively short period of time, he has no idea how many times he swallows hard as he slowly walks toward the turn in front of him. Before he enters the turn, he took a peek first.
No guards? thinks Nathan frowning.
Because of that, Nathan now seems to be frozen. His mind is racing about what he should do. Will he use brute force to save the Servant Girl from slavery or through more cunning ways. But, is there any other way besides using violence? Is he going to use a wiser method, like he wants to enslave the Servant Girl by buying her? Thinking about it, would the coins be enough?
If Nathan attacks Leonardo, what will happen next? Worst case scenario, once Leonardo's skills are higher than Nathan's, it would all come to an end and saving the Servant Girl would probably be more difficult and could not use the wiser one.
Nathan shakes his head, he doesn't think he would find any light if he only thinks about it. With courage and determination, he will face whatever comes next. Importantly, he starts to step up first.
"Ohoh... Sorry if you feel uncomfortable with the atmosphere down here..." says Leonardo who thinks that Nathan who was left behind is feeling uncomfortable in this place.
"No problem. But, can you let me find my interesting one?" asks Nathan.
"Yes, of course Sir..."
As he's watching each cages he passes, Nathan thinks of various plans for what he should do. He who's still a novice and inexperienced, facing this, his mind is really stuck. Even though he previously said that he would face whatever happens next, his heart still feels worried.
A face he recognized is gloomy in the corner of the room, that's when Nathan who sees her immediately makes up his mind to hold on and is sure that after he decides to step forward, he would never give up.
"Only by refusing to fail, I will succeed!"
