"Miss Loraine, why did you offer to make them an affiliate of the Antares Enterprise?" Sarah asked as soon as she was back.
Loraine knew what Sarah was asking. She was basically asking her why she did not just buy the whole company outright if she was interested in those things, but just offered the company to become an affiliate of the Antares Enterprise.
Loraine could indeed buy the company but she did not want to do it. Loraine did not want to add more things to do. It would be better to just let Fred and his friends run the company on their own.
That way, Loraine and the Antares Enterprise could still receive their share because of their investment.
"I don't want to put more of my energy into any more companies. Managing the Antares Enterprise as it is now, is already hard enough. I don't want to add more work to our already overloaded schedule so it would be better to just make it an affiliate and just wait for our earnings," Loraine explained.
