"No, I also wanted to ask why you went around with Mr. Alistair today?" Layla asked.
"Is that even a question? Of course, we went on a date. Since we could not go far at the moment, we just had a date within the city. I went sight-seeing with Alistair," Loraine replied, intentionally using just Alistair's name without honorifics.
"Alistair?!!! He is allowing you to call him by just his name?" Layla gawked.
"Of course. Why wouldn't he? We are lovers after all. I also allow him to call me by name," Lorraine replied nonchalantly like Layla was asking the obvious that had no need to be asked.
What Loraine said was indeed true. They had decided to address each other by name in the duration of their agreed relationship. She just took out the contract part.
Likewise, Loraine and Alistair truly went around the city on a date to sightsee. But their main goal was to be seen by people so the world will know about their "relationship."
