Running faster than any would, You looked back, seeing the burnt body of Shata.
"Is he-..."
Your words went short when he suddenly stood up.
"Holy Jesus!" Your legs ran faster than Jim's. "How can someone who got in an explosion still be alive?!"
"I don't know why? But what I know is that we should RUN!."
Jim held you tightly, running into the now heavy rainstorm.
Running for more than twenty minutes, there was nothing fear couldn't do.
Spotting a house closeby, you both knocked on the door, banging like a wild animal.
"Help us!!!!" You screamed, loud enough for the entire world to hear.
The door of course didn't open. The residents were afraid of getting attacked.
"Y/N, come in!" Jim invited, as you saw him in a van.
"Jim, did you steal it?"
"Well-"
"You're a genius!." Saying this, you hoped in, without thinking twice about to whom the car belongs.
Jim as well drove away, with the speed of lightning.
____
"Get in! I'm sure we lost them!" Jim shut the door as you rubbed your hands from the cold.
Your arm however had a burning sensation in the mark.
"Take this" Jim handed a cup of hot cocoa with a sweater to keep you warm.
"Thanks alot!" You sipped the steaming hot cocoa, feeling warm inside.
"I'll go check on this mark on your arm, something is telling me there is more to what you possess there." Jim said reaching for his laptop, "Don't go far away from me okay?"
"Do I look like someone who would leave when I know fully well a group of mad ancient Egyptian warriors are chasing after me?" You asked Jim with all levels of seriousness.
"Nope!" Jim didn't say anything after that, instead he researched on his computer regarding the eye of horus.
'Meow~'
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" You screamed seeing a black cat. "Jim, you never told me you had a cute black cat."
"I don't!" He mumbled typing on the keyboard.
"Hello there, are you lost?" You came closer but the cat ran away from the room.
"Y/N, remember don't l-" Jim looked around, not seeing you. "Damnit! Didn't I just warn that girl?!."
Meanwhile, you followed the cat all the way to the bedroom.
"Hey catty, catty, catty," you smiled seeing the cat, "There you are."
Picking him from the floor, you stood upright, only to come face to face with….
"JIM?! You scared me!"
"Didn't I warn you not to leave the room? What if Shata shows up?" He was seriously worried.
"Shata won't, we lost him earlier!" You said, turning back only to face Shata.
"Ah-"
He placed his bloody hands on your mouth, "I apologize for using such dirty hands to touch your sacred face my queen."
Jim looked at Shata with furrowed brows, "Why don't you leave her alone?"
"This is my duty from the gods, to bring back her highness to the Pharaoh's hands!" He said without a hint of emotion.
"Do you always have to be cold?"
"I express no emotion to those unworthy and worthless!" His words shattered Jim thoroughly.
Looking at you, he said, "But My queen is an exception!."
"I won't allow you to take Y/N away!" Jim insisted.
"She swore to god Ra never to ever leave the great pharaoh and remain by his side. A promise as well."
Staring at you Jim couldn't believe his ears.
You on the other hand looked in another direction.
"I'm taking her highness back to the Pharaoh, away from the abominable era!" Shata said again without any trace of emotion. "She would be with the pharaoh forever, stay with him, die with him and stay by his side when he walks in the l-"
"OKAY WE GET IT!" Jim exclaimed, already annoyed.
"Don't interfere with our ritual Jim!" Shata called his name fluently.
"How did you do?"
"I remember unworthy names of lowlife creatures!"
"You speak like you aren't a human," Jim pointed out.
"I'm Not!."
"Oh" Jim hands pressed a button behind, "Anyways, I won't wait a minute or two to tell you your time has expired on Earth!."
'KABOOM'
An explosion behind destroyed his body, making Jim fling you outside.
"This time I want to see you stick together from pieces!"
"How did you do that?" You asked after landing on a soft mattress outside the window.
"What?" Jim asked.
"How did you have enough time to know Shata would come to the bedroom? How did you set the explosion? And how did you suddenly appear in the bedroom?!" You questioned him, already walking back.
"I knew her highness is so smart!," A smile crept on his face, "Yet it took long enough but you got it right!."
"Who are you?"
The supposed Jim placed both hands on his face, removing what seemed like a mask
"I'm Shata!"
"Then who was that there?," You were confused thoroughly, "Where is Jim? How?"
"My queen, allow me to explain," Shata paced the street, "Firstly did you ever wonder how Jim took the van? Did you ever wonder how Vin disappeared?"
"Where is Jim?"
"Long story short, he won't be seeing you go to Egypt!"
"What?! You killed him?" You were now angry, they've crossed the line.
"No no no! He isn't dead, what makes you think I'll kill him?" Shata asked, now walking closer.
"You literally killed a cop!."
"Oh, that was because he touched your hand-...."
"Don't justify your actions! You are a killer!"
Sighing, Shata shut his eyes, "It is almost midnight!"
You looked around noticing the moon. It has been night the whole time.
"S-...."
"Go To Sleep!" He commanded as your eyes went heavy, the world going dark.
"I'm sorry my queen, but I had to do it the hard way. You belong to Egypt and to Pharaoh! To continue your life by his side and to end by his side."
Using the last strength before going unconscious, you gave him a hot slap.
[A/N: At least to warm his face during the cold weather.]
_____
"My queen…."
"My queen…."
"My queen, wake up…"
You slowly opened your eyes as the night seemed to darken. Noticing you were being carried all the way, your legs staggered as you stood up.
Looking at Shata whose face remained stone cold, you couldn't help but stare.
"Is there anything My queen?"
"Why don't you smile?" You asked.
"I don't have emotions like humans do."
"Rigggght" you dragged the words before looking at a gigantic pyramid. "So, how do you send me to Egypt?"
"Using blood!"
The other two came out of nowhere.
"Wait a minute! Where have you all been?" You asked, seeing them all.
"They were doing the necessary!" Shata replied.
Before your eyes, the two sliced through their veins, allowing their blood to flow on the sharp sand.
Suddenly, a portal appeared.
"Let's go, my queen!" Shata dragged you to the portal, his grip tight on your arm.
"Is Jim alive?"
"Yes that human is!"
"Good!" You kicked him in the no-no area making his eyes go wide and releasing his grip. The moment you did that, you jumped into the portal hearing Shata scream a "No!"
"This is bad!" The second said,
"She went straight to the Babylon, not to Egypt! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!."
