"What?"
Hearing the knight's murmur, Xanthus frowned his brows and stared intensely into him, narrowing his stiff glare. His stoic expression made the knights feel anxious, as scratching the back of his head he tried to explain in a more polite note, "Umm, actually I meant to say that Princess Melissa came back to the castle in the early morning today, and upon reaching here, she ordered us that she wants to see you. Since you were in your room, we waited to deliver her message to you, Your Grace once you wake up…"
By then Xanthus had finished putting on his majestic ruby embroidered coat and averting his cold glare from him, he scoffed while cuffing his sleeves, "She wants to see me, but unfortunately I don't possess any intention of reciprocating her wish."
"Huh? Pardon?" Hearing such a cold rumble from Xanthus about Melissa who was supposedly her betrothed, the knight exchanged a confused glance with the others before he lowered his head down.
