' Weapon Aura ! '
Leo was overjoyed. Weapon Aura is a technique that only Enchanter Rank beings can practice. Him being able to gain even a low understanding without any teachings and at Awakener Rank is simply amazing. Weapon Aura is mainly used to infuse weapons with elements. For example, the lightning element gives weapon destructiveness and speed. There are also higher level techniques that allow aura to be extended from the weapon's blade and launch Mana beams and other ranged attacks.
Closing his system Leo walked through remnants of once strong iron gates. After walking through the gate Leo noticed that the temperature dropped drastically, making him take out some extra clothes from his inventory. After readying himself for climate change Leo advanced further.
Walking through the tunnel was easier than before, because Leo wasn't attacked by enemies. The only thing that disturbed him was some small insects climbing on the walls, but they looked harmless and were not aggressive, hence Leo left them alone.
While strolling through the tunnel Leo felt gazes directed at him. Looking around Leo saw no one.
Screech...
A screech echoed across the tunnel. Slowly tilting his head up Leo was met by hundreds of red eyes staring at him. He instantly identified the creatures. There were tons of bats, but they weren't aggressive towards humans, hence Leo calmed down and while carefully eyeing the beasts walked further.
Unfortunately for Leo while he was looking at the bats above, he didn't see what's before him and walked into a hole. A simple hole. It wasn't even hidden, it was just there. As a reward for his extraordinary perceptiveness Leo received a minute of free fall.
Cursing himself Leo took out a dagger from his Inventory. He tried to stab it in the wall and stop his fall, but didn't manage to hold on to it and had let go of the dagger or else his hand would be ripped off. He felt that his right shoulder was dislocated. The only positive thing is that he halved the falling momentum and should be able to stop the fall with the other dagger.
While falling further Leo could discern ground below him. Slightly panicking he hurriedly stabbed another dagger into the wall trying to at least slow down his momentum. He indeed slowed it down, but didn't manage to stop it completely. The last thing Leo remembered before blacking out was pain in his shoulder, blood flowing through his lips and solid ground touching his cheek.

A creature dashed into the cave quickly. Running at fast speed it saw the skeleton group's remains. Grinning the humanoid being stopped in its tracks to find out how did the battle go. Searching around and not seeing any blood grin became almost impossible to see.
Crash....
A quiet echo was heard further into the cave. Picking up its pace the creature bolted towards the sound. After reaching the place where the sound came from it saw destroyed gargoyles, now the grin on its face was completely gone. Inspecting the statues it saw one of them having remnants of a crown. Two red eyes suddenly changed into yellow color sending small Mana ripples across the air. Turning its head towards the destroyed gates the creature let out a quiet growl.

Opening his eyes Leo was greeted by a muddy ground and lingering pain in his shoulder. Slowly sitting up Leo quickly inspected everything around him and seeing no immediate threat proceeded to assess his body's condition. He felt that his shoulder was dislocated and that he suffered some internal damage
Putting his shoulder in its original position Leo started circulating Mana across his body. After a few minutes he felt pain drifting away. Looking around Leo saw that everything surrounding him were walls with no light source. There was no tunnel or exit except for a narrow crack in the wall. Leo also saw two skeletons lying near him. Just to be safe he pierced the skulls of both, but didn't get any Xp.
Approaching the crack Leo appraised it and was surprised that it's big enough for him to enter. Not finding another option as to how to get out of this place he squeezed into the crack.
While moving through narrow space Leo was approached by various bugs. He thanked gods that he has no claustrophobia or entomophobia.
*Claustrophobia - irrational fear of confined spaces.
*Entomophobia - fear of insects.
After ten minutes of crawling and squeezing through the crack Leo saw a light shining at the end of the crack. Picking his pace up Leo jumped out of the narrow space.
' What the hell is this ? '
Leaving the crack Leo was greeted by a room with a door without any handle or lock. On all 4 walls there were texts written in unrecognizable symbols. In the middle of the room there was an altar with an empty clay pot on top of it.
Approaching the Altar Leo inspected every corner of it, but saw nothing weird except for some random symbols written here and there. Opening the drawers Leo found a metal knife with similar strange symbols embed onto its blade and an old book that seemed to have a lair of dust covering it.
Inspecting the knife Leo was surprised, because it was purely black and wasn't rusty or dull even though it was covered in dust. No matter how much time Leo spent appraising the knife he couldn't understand its properties. Suddenly Leo gasped. Hitting his head against the table and smiling at his stupidity Leo spoke.
' System appraise this knife '
A screen appeared before him.
