As food entered Alton's mouth, he could feel the texture and taste it brought and some bitter memories of his past life when he was left all alone, and he could not taste this food again.

Alton started eating the food without looking up from the plate. Maria was shocked because the young master she remembered would always push the food back after taking a single bite and always bad-mouth the chef. Maria looked at Alton with questioning eyes, and she felt that something had changed, but she could not put her finger on it.

Maria unconsciously mumbled in a low voice, "Something is changing."

This sound caught Alton's attention, and he looked at her and asked, "Did you say anything?"

Maria denied it by moving her head left and right. Alton looked at her for a second but started stuffing the food again. Alton finished his breakfast fast, and now he was full.

After finishing the breakfast, Alton once again around the room and saw that the room had a single, double bed in the middle, a bathroom which was on the right side of the bed, a table set in front of the bed with two chairs one on each side a big glass door with a balcony in front of the table and on the right side was a door through which you exited the room.

Looking at the room brought back both happy and sad memories simultaneously. Alton once again looked at Maria, who was making his bed; she was a beautiful twenty-eight-year-old woman in the prime of her life; she had long black hair reaching her waist and a pointy nose with a charming smile and a well-defined jawline, and a perfect body which was well proportioned.

Maria was more of a big sister than a maid for Alton; before she was Alton's maid, she worked for his mother, and his mother trusted Maria a lot, so as Alton was born, Maria was assigned to him and from that day on she took care of him. Maria was with him even in his past life when his parents were murdered because of a scheme and always took care of him until her last breath.

The reason Maria died was also Alton because an assassin tried to assassinate him, but Maria stopped the killer but was gravely injured and thus died.

Maria noticed Alton looking at her with sad eyes and walking near him. "What's wrong young master? Are you hurt anywhere."

Alton was brought back from Maria's words, "No, nothing, I was just thinking about something." Maria was shocked to hear this because her young master was a carefree person who didn't think about something, but she knew that one day the young master would become a great man.

Alton got up from the chair and entered the bathroom; the bathroom was half the size of the room; there on the right side was a glass door partially see through and inside that was a bathtub to take a bath; on the left side was an ample wardrobe with expensive clothes inside and in front was a large mirror Alton entered the glass door and took a five minutes bath and when he came out of bath Maria had already got his clothes ready, so he stood in front of the mirror while Maria dressed him up.

Alton looked at himself in the mirror with small blue hair, light blue eyes, a well-defined jawline with a charming smile; his face alone was enough to make any women fall for him; his body was skinny with almost no muscle and the clothes he wore were expensive, but they felt like they were on a hanger rather than a human body.

Alton touched his right cheek where he had gotten a sword mark in his previous life, but it was not here now.

Maria moved back. "Young master, I am finished."

Alton looked at himself, and he was indeed ready; he looked at Maria with a smile. "Thank you."

Maria was again surprised because Alton never thanked or smiled at her, but she was brought back when Alton asked, "I want to meet father. Do you know where he will be?"

Maria was shocked at the question because Alton had never met his father on his own and only met him when he called him, but she answered, "The Earl will probably be in his office right now working so the young master can go there and meet him."

Alton nodded and exited the bathroom and then the room, took a right turn, and started walking towards his father's study.
