A day had passed since their intense kiss and Nova hurting his ego, but because of it Ambrose has been absent minded throughout the weekend and kept thinking of the kiss.
Ambrose was very early in the office today because he wanted to try and distract himself with something so as not to think about Nova and the kiss. He was busy analysing the company's ledger when he saw Adriana enter his office. With a scowl on his face, he stared at Adriana who wore a one shoulder side spliced dress that was too short in his eyes. One wrong move, and he bet he could almost see her underwear.
" Good morning, darling. Why didn't you wake me up so we can come to work together? " She asked, walking towards his seat.
" I'm busy. " Ambrose muttered under his breath as he dropped his gaze back to the ledger in his hands. His attention completely focused on it which infuriated Adriana because he was ignoring her.
